The man was an abberation.

I don't even judge all autistics by him.

S. Kessler says:
Autistics are not as a general rule violent toward others. Certainly not high functioning autistics, like Lanza may have been. Whatever was wrong with him, his violent act had nothing to do with autism.

Well that is mighty gracious of you to "not even judge all autistcs by him".

What a crock.

The exact opposite is the case. The corporate-owned mainstream media is forever contemptuous of ANYONE who is not an adherent of the Xtian religion......and is forever walking on pins and needles around the topic of anyone committing a heinous crime being a Christian; ...

... they seem reticent to point it out when (as is the case in the VAST majority of murders, child abuses, rapes and other hideous crimes) the perpetrator is a Christian or other staunch religionist.

Just look at how they (the corporate-owned mainstream media) treat the huge news story of so many priests being discovered to be serial child molesters; in their coverage they seldom if ever delve into the fact that the perpetrators are supposed "men of god". They prefer to focus on any other aspect of it as long as they can avoid talking about them being religionists.

S., good point. Nor did it have anything to do with religion or lack thereof.

He leaned toward the autistic side of life. His autism wasn't what he did it for though. He did it, like most satanists, for his atheism. Dirty evil demon. U.S.A.!!! U.S.A.!!! U.S.A.!!!

Why do you ask? What difference would it make?

I thought you were a nitwit, and you've just confirmed it by asking such a stupid, irrelevant question.

I think that we should all agree that weather it is revealed that the shooter was a Christian or an atheist, that we don't use it as a opportunity to bash one another.

Kenyon says:

"When the molesters are priests, you hear about it. It's a story...When they are teachers, you hear about it. It's a story...When they are a factory worker, you don't hear about it. Nobody cares."

I say:

It should be a bigger story when a molester is clergy, a coach, or a teacher; because, unlike factory workers, they are entrusted to guide and shape the lives and morals of young people.

It's like a cop on who is "on the take"; it's some kind of betrayal.

Hey, good for you! You understood what I said. Of course it's a bigger story when the offender is someone who is in a position of trust with our children.

And if you look at the post that I was responding to, that poster was claiming that the media downplays such stories.

My Response
If he were an atheist Fox "News", Rush Limbaugh, etc etc would have had a field day.
