B. Josephson says:
Well, I think it makes no sense to speak for a religous orthodox person unless you are one.

Sorry if that offends you.

J. Schwarz says:
You missed the point entirely. I just do not like targeted signs directed towards any specific religious or ethnic group that singles them out if especially directed at them in a language they can only understand that insults them. I would have been equally angry whether it were Christians or Muslims.

Brian Curtis says:
Actually, when it was pointed out that Christian groups had been specifically targeted as well, you replied that you didn't much care. quote: "As for billboards placed in other locations, let the people targeted complain about them."

So... yeah.

Hmm...
"I would have been equally angry whether it were Christians or Muslims."
and
"As for billboards placed in other locations, let the people targeted complain about them."

Brian -
You just beat me to it - I see I'm not the only one to catch that inconsistency. A little morality show to mask his blatant Judeo-centricism, maybe?

B. Josephson says:
I think you are missing the point. If you are an orthodox Jew, then you can say how you feel, but if not, you are just imagining how you would feel.

Wow, I missed that, thanks RB and BC for pointing this out.

J. Schwarz says:
First of all I did not see it, and I wasn't aware of it until someone notified this discussion, and the Christians ARE the MAJOR religion in the USA, not a minority and it is not in a LANGUAGE only Christians can understand AND the Christians have enough people in the MAJORITY to handle it. The JEWS and MUSLIMS are minorities in a land of CHRISTIANS, SPECIFICALLY TARGETED IN THEIR LANGUAGE THUS THE REASON FOR MY COMMENT. I do not feel the Christians need any help from me since they are the dominant religion. Get it? Notice how Josephson tried to drag me back into the discussion after a few weeks. I made my initial post, discuss it amongst yourselves and have a good time. Enjoy.

JS: First of all I did not see it, and I wasn't aware of it until someone notified this discussion, and the Christians... [YELLING] [YELLING] [YELLING]... I made my initial post, discuss it amongst yourselves and have a good time. Enjoy.

RB: Didn't see what? Wasn't aware of what? What, exactly, does "notified this discussion" mean?

This thread is full of your crying about the plight of the Jews and, in the middle of it all, you made your apathy towards people of other faiths known. Later you told us that you'd be just as angry about the targeting of Christians and Muslims. Now you're saying that Christians are so dominant that you don't feel the need to speak out against any threats against them.

So, after all your drama, your histrionics, and now your apparent hypocrisy, you're going to duck out and leave the discussion for everyone else?

No, I don't get it.

What's to get? Schwartz is demonstrating copious amounts of self-centered victimization and pretending it's in the name of equality and justice for all religions.

BC:

I had to put Schwartz on ignore. He is such a self-centered victim, whom no one can understand because he is a Jew. No one can feel his pain. No one should question his comments. Only people who have a few drops of Jewish descendency can possibly understand him. No one should suggest that someone might believe other than what he believes. He is the poster boy for whining. Freedom of religion does not apply to his neighborhood because of the Jewish victims who live with the weight of 8,000 years of horrible trauma and of misunderstanding and of tradition. I am about to start crying for him. Let us all boohoo together. Ready...one...two...three...whaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!
