Well, when someone doing damage control for a firm pushing unhealthy food, bigotry and intolerance dies of a heart attack right in the middle of a media firestorm... It *is* funny. No idea what this has to do with Penn State, either.

Well, when someone doing damage control by sweeping years of child rape under the rug for a university pushing their big money football program & then DIES in the middle of a media firestorm.....well, you know the rest.

I'd say we're on the same side, ensanta.

For the anniversary of gay marriage in NY, AMNY, the free commuter newspaper, had a front page story: gay weddings in nyc generated $259 billion in the past year, far surpassing expectations. So maybe the lawyers are teaming up with the caterers?

Juliana, what type of computer are you using? Whether you are running Windows or using a Mac, doesn't matter! Both of those companies have made donations towards supporting gay marriage! What type of car do you drive? Where do you shop? Better examine this list closely if you want to be so close minded and asinine.

Evil will always rear it's ugly head, in the guise of people like Juliana. In the 1950's, she'd have been a staunch supporter of Jim Crow laws, and have thrown rocks at Dr. King and those marching with him. It's up to good and decent humans to see that the evil doesn't prevail.

The difference is that the CEO of Amazon donated his own money, not corporate money and that is his personal stance on the matter, the CEO of Chick fil a made it a corporate stance and by doing so not only affected his bottom line but the bottom line of everyone who took their money and bought a chick fil a franchise who might or might not have the same beliefs, the people that own franchises are being financially hurt by his statements, he has the right to feel however he feels and is welcome to shout it on roof tops, but by making it a corporate stance he has done damage to people he isn't going to come out of pocket to help when they are being boycotted for his actions.
