The dream band I want to listen to:
I wanted a lineup where every single member can sing lead vocals as well as write songs.

The dream band I want playing behind me:

Chris DeGarmo - Electric & acoustic guitars, backing vocals
Roger McGuinn - 12-string electric & acoustic guitars, backing vocals
Vincent Jones - Keyboards
Corinne Culbertson - Bass, backing vocals
Larry Mullen, Jr. - Drums

D. Mok- Would Buck Dharma be close to making your list?

Posted on Nov 12, 2012 5:49:57 PM PST
D. Mok says:
I love Buck Dharma, but I'm not a big fan of his singing voice. Too detached and one-dimensional. As a guitarist he's sublime, but The Edge and Chris DeGarmo are two of my biggest influences. As good as Blue Oyster Cult was, it's one of a kind, and Eric Bloom, Allen Lanier, Joe Bouchard and Sandy Pearlman were probably just as responsible for the sound as Buck Dharma was.

Absolutely, I always knew she played, but I saw her on "The Florence Henderson Show" (only people over 65 get that network) when I was visiting my sweet old Grandma. I was very, very impressed with her prowess...and at her age her body as well !

hysterical!...but Charo might actually get it together with Liberace. May i humbly suggest Tiny Tim as a substitute?

David, best band ever!

Waits, Tork, Karen, Liberace and Charo. End of story what a band. And time wise it could have been. Maybe on Merv Griffin.

Mervolous...don't forget Zsa Zsa on backing vocals...

Yes ! Stomp on some tulips and pull a Pete Townsend special. Maybe Karen can kick over the drums if she's not too weak. Sorry...too soon ?

Some norty people are still bending the rools. But some fascinating lists emerging all the same. I like Disco Biscuit's list. Unlike him I never thought of including Eno in my fantasy band. Maybe I should've.
