Michael Ary says:
"Hey Hey What Can I Do"
... is one of Zeps best IMO, but rarely heard because it was never put on an album. If you want to hear it you had to shell out better than a hundred bucks (original price) for the Led Zeppelin box set (1990).

Michael, it was released on a 2 track CD with Immigrant Song for a few bucks. Not sure if it's still available or not though.

Michael, I don't remember the Led Zep box being over $100. I think I paid around $60 something and I got it pretty much when it came out. It could have been the list price or maybe I got it on sale or something. I could be wrong though. Hey Hey What Can I Do, is indeed a really good song though.

Yes, Four Sticks! That was the track that got me into them. I was amazed that nobody else rated it. I'll also throw in Ozone Baby, too. For some reason, my fellow band mates generally dis Zeppelin; not sure what that's about. My guitarist says that Robert Plant sounding like he's having an orgasm on each vocal drives him up the wall. Oh well. Whatever.

Why is my post about Immigrant Song/Hey Hey What Can I Do being voted down? I could see if it was a false statement, but they were released on a 2 track CD. I got mine at Circuit City for $3.99

One of my favorite ever Zep tunes is "Your Time Is Gonna Come". Not sure i've ever heard that one on the radio even once, but compared to how heavy most of the first (and 2nd) albums are, that one was always a welcome change of pace for me, and since it's not been worn out by radio, I can still listen to it today pretty much any ol' time....

Sodenfir, I remember that CD single, it had the red and black Atlantic Records label in a brown sleeve to make it look like a 45. I didn't buy one because I had the box set but I recall seeing it in either best buy or circuit city.

I love their mellow, guitar picking acoustic sound as well as their giant dinosaur rock sound! One of the greatest things about this band imho!!! Versatility rocks!

Man, I love everything they did. They're so good you could argue all their songs are underrated! Well, maybe "Hot Dog"...

It was at Circuit City. I bought a copy of it for .25 when they went out of business. And you can still get it on Amazon.

And Carouselambra. The studio recording does not give enough justice to the song craft. It's a great song, played at mediocre standards in the studio. Likely they didn't know what to do with it.
