I couldn't stand Poet Game by Greg Brown. (Wait, why did I put a product link in here? I'm not exactly endorsing it.) I heard part of a song from that disc on a progressive-music station, thought it sounded good, and put it on my must-have list. A few songs in, I thought, why am I listening to this? His voice is awful--Tom Waits awful. (Don't slam me, Tom Waits fans.) Anyway, I tend to hoard CDs, so I still have this one, but when I had to start deleting from my iPod, this was one of the first to go. I didn't even put the song that I thought I liked in my playlist of must-haves that I heard on the station.

Survivor by - of course - Survivor. My mother friggin' loved this album and played it all the time, which is partly responsible for my terrible mental health as an adult.

Either William Shatner's or Leonard Nimoy's albums. Or 'Ballads of the Green Berets'.

I love Pink Floyd and I didn't have all their early works until the 2011 remasters came out......I really am enjoying 13 of the 14 Pink Floyd albums......but the worst album i've ever heard is Pink Floyd's debut album "Piper At The Gates Of Dawn".. Just sounds like a bunch of noise.....They turned it around very quickly though because their 2nd album "Saucerful of Secrets" is very good....and they get better and better every album after that......

Agreed! That album was pathetic.

Mott - Drive On
This was Mott the Hoople's rhythm section trying to carry it on after Ian Hunter and Mick Ronson quit. Caterwauling vocals, pedestrian guitar solos, tunes that were not very tuneful and your basic sexdrugsROCKNROLL lyrics. This and the equally abysmal follow-up Shouting and Pointing are proof that sometimes you should just let it die (are you listening, Axl?).

viva...sure, "Hot Space" is one of Queen's worst...but "Staying Power" is AWESOME along with "Under Pressure".

Did you buy the latest remaster with the bonus cuts? I LOVE the "single remix" of Back Chat. Body Language is a really good song, as well.

Billy Idol's christmas album, although I have to say his take on Frosty has a permanent spot on my iPod for being SO bad that it's good. 'Specially after a few holiday eggnogs.

Agreed. Lots of bands keep going long after the magic has fled but it's their job and they love the money and the adoration of the fans. Some bands loose the magic but get it back, Black Sabbaths last two albums with Ozzy are quite feeble but they bounced back with two classics once Dio was recruited. Some bands seem to do well no matter what garbage they put out. AC/DC for instance, Kiss, Alice Cooper, Metallica all produced brilliant albums for years and then just churned out rubbish but the fans pretty much kept buying it. I know, I'm one ;D

I'm Lou Reed fan myself. Metal Machine Music is the worst album I ever heard. I couldn't believe I wasted 10 bucks on it. :/
