As said, I'm a sucker for the love triangle dynamic, that's why I've so enjoyed the Stephanie Plum series all these years given its imperfections. Can anyone recommend any other series with a similar (or even better) love triangle with a heroine and two men and no infidelity. Thank you.

Too funny that you both posted the same request within seconds of each other. :P I guess I need to recommend something other than Sookie Stackhouse...
Hummmm...I'll need to come back.

Well, this is UF, but Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson series keeps a triangle going for several books.

Hmm, aside from the obvious Anita Blake rec, a bunch of MMF and MFM romances are in the Shocking Sex Scenes thread.

Otherwise, one I haven't see rec'd here in Romance is the Midnight Louie mystery series set in Vegas. Louie = cat, his "owner", Temple, is a public relations specialist, and her two love interests are a magician and a former Catholic priest; Louie also has a love interest. Fans of mid-century modern and/or Mad Men will appreciate Temple's aesthetic. First two are Catnap: A Midnight Louie Mystery & Pussyfoot: A Midnight Louie Mystery, and then the titles are alphabetical colors starting with B ("Cat and a [alpha color] [noun/verb/adjective]").

Charmed and Dangerous: A Bobbie Faye Novel by Toni McGee Causey is the first of a trilogy that was a fun read. Lots of action, interesting characters, and good writing.
No Such Thing as a Secret: A Brandy Alexander Mystery (No Such Thing As...A Brandy Alexander Mystery) by Shelly Fredman is the start of another great series. And I believe they are now very reasonably priced for kindle.

Wings of a Dove by Elaine Barbieri, this one is definitely 'up your alley' of my favourite love triangle story between 1 h and 2 H's..i still think this should be made into a movie.

No Turning Back (Kathleen Turner Series) and its sequel Turn to Me (Kathleen Turner Series) by Tiffany Snow. I believe Tiffany has planned to make this into a 5 book series with bk 3 coming out later this year. I know who I want Kathleen to end up with, but I'd be okay if she chose the other guy, too.

Lisa:Who do you want Kathleen to end up with?

I am rooting for the brother :)

Lisa says:
TrishaLouise: I am actually Team Blane. But after the 2nd book, I could be swayed. I think Kade understands her more, gets who she is and Blane needs to learn how to get out of protector role and learn how to treat her more as an "equal".

Lisa: wOW! Thanks for reccing the Kathleen Turner Series. I just finished the first one and I'm about to dive into the second one! I hate to have to wait for the next 3!

Merc: I know!!! I am DYING for bk 3!!! After you read Turn to Me, you'll have to tell me which team you're on.

Lisa: Right now I'm on team Kade...I just love that bad boy vibe coming off him. **slight spoilers** For some reason, maybe it's bc Kathleen keeps telling herself that she has a shelf life with Blane. Plus he never really "declares" his intenstions to her. He was happy she was alive and he's taking care of her (ie fixing up her apt after the break in), but I'm wondering if that's something he wouldn't do anyways for his "flavors of the month." I do love how possesive he is of her though. But Kade, oh Kade, I was melting with that scene in the crappy hotel with Kade, where he lays his head on her lap....sigh. We shall see if I waiver after I read #2 :-)

TrishaLouise says:
I was team Blane until I finished book two. Now I am all about Kade. I agree with Lisa that Kade "gets her" more than Blane. But there are three reasons why I favor Kade.

1. In book one it was Kade who stepped in to help her when the psycho dude held her at knife point. Blane was there and saw the whole thing but chose not to offer help in any way.
2. Kade & Kathleen are more "down to earth" and not materialistic. I think their goals for life are more along the same lines. Blane wants the high society social life and to be governor one day. I just cannot see Kathleen being happy with that kind of life in the long run.
3. In book two Blane makes a comment about Kathleen needing to be more than just a secretary. It came across as a kind of dig like her being a secretary wasn't good enough for him.

Blane is a SUPER sweet guy and I would love to see him with a HEA. But I think he is going to miss the boat on this one.

If you like books with a twisty triangle I highly recommend Doing the Right Thing by Barbara Elsborg. I was so torn over who she should pick at the end of the book.

Oh man, i really do want to try put the Kathleen Turner series but im afraid ill never be able to pick a side. Both guys sound awesome. In such cases i usally root for the one who isnt getting the girl and that ruins it for me. :( Help! Someone convince me!

Shimmergirl says:
if you like paranormals, you could try Blood Law and it's sequel, Blood Right by Karin Tabke. It's about two twin brothers who battle for control of their Lycan pack. The second brother kills the mate of the first one because he suspected she was working for their enemy, and according to pack law, the first brother has the right to also kill the mate of the second brother. He doesn't kill her (the h ) but instead takes her as his mate, thus leaving the second brother in despair as he has no choice but to abide by pack law and give the woman he loves over to his brother. This book is angsty and a scorcher so might be right up your alley. This is a trilogy and the third book isn't out yet, but so far so very good. Both brothers fall really hard for her and it is gut-wrenching at times.

Im not really into it erotica? And the kathleen turner series, are they erotica? Im ok with sex scenes but nothing too detailed or where the scenes take up like half the book. :)

N. Khaliq...No Turning Back and Turn to Me don't have explicit sex scenes. In NTB, they don't have sex until later in the book. If you just read NTB, you can rely on a plausible HFN with the couple. It's in TtM that Kathleen is really fighting her attraction. She does not cheat.

I just read both the Kathleen Turner books this weekend. Not erotic, more like romantic suspense. A few sexual scenes, somewhat descriptive. I have certainly read other books with far greater sexual descriptions. I enjoyed both books. They are a bit far-fetched in the dramatic events that happen to the heroine but both heroes are interesting in their own way.

Shimmergirl says:
N. Khaliq..... Blood Law has some scorching scenes and the sex is pretty descriptive, but there is a story and it is well-written. Not sure you can classify it as erotica....

Lisa: Just finished book 2. ***slight spoilers*** I'm going to stick with my original man...esp after what happened at the Christmas Party. I just want to know how much further was he going to go with that to "protect" Kathleen? I like Blane, but for the every day mundane things, he just seems like someone who's going to give her money but kind of stand back and let her spend it, but Kade is going to get down and dirty with her. Like with the Britney concert.

So when is the 3d book coming out?

I read Blood Law but DNF Blood Right. Someone had thought that they were heading towards the three of them being together. I guess I have to go back and finish Blood Right. It was pretty spicey.

This is from Tiffany Snow's FB page....

"So, here are my seven sentences from book three:

Blane didn't say anything for a moment, and the silence seemed oppressive to me. I couldn't hold his penetrating gaze, my eyes dropping to stare at the white linen of his shirt.

"I'll take you home in the morning," he finally said.

I jerked my eyes back up to his, but couldn't read anything from his face. Before I'd even realized what was happening, he'd placed a kiss on my forehead and disappeared out the door.

I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling for a long time. I didn't know what had happened, what Blane wanted from me. Did he expect I'd just continue living with him?

So there you go. A tiny sneak peek at book three in the Kathleen Turner Series. "

A little peek into bk 3...can't wait until end of the year! I totally agree, Merc and Trisha, Kade is more willing to share her interests and Blane feels like he should just provide the opportunity for her. Sigh...
