Suzanne Brockmann's The Admiral's Bride (contemporary/rom-sus) and Lois Bujold's The Sharing Knife (fantasy) come to my mind.

I loved these 3 from Julie Miller. They are romantic suspense. The first is older man/younger woman and the other are older woman/younger man.
The Rookie

Hale's Point

She's 23, he's 37. It's a story line I hate and it sort of ruined the book for me.
I know that at 23, a 37yr old man would have looked old to me

If you want quick reads with older men who are also alpha, I think Sam Crescent might fit for you

I second the rec for Julie Miller's books. I have Takedown in both Kindle and paperback and re-read it every few months.

A Customer says:
What I Did for a Duke heroine is 19-20 and the hero is about 38-39.
The Magic of You Another historical, the h is 17-18 and the H is 36 IIRC.
Sweetest Taboo: A novel Caution - this is about an underage girl and her teacher. She is 15 when she starts a relationship w/ her swim coach and he's married and in his 30s.
Undeniable 18 year age difference b/t H & h. They meet when the h is a child but it's not that type of book, nothing happens until she's grown.

And ofcourse one of my all time favorite books: Jane Eyre. I had to throw it in on the off chance anyone hasn't read it. :)
