I think I may have read some of Evangeline's books. I'll have to have a peek now (gee, what a shame, have to buy more kindle books to fit on my kindle...gosh...LOL). Thanks for the tips! I think that's why I liked Sherriyn Kenyon's Night Play so much, the hero not only thought the heroine was perfect just the way she was, he valued her gentleness as well.

Hi Janet - I've read some of these books by Sandra Cox, is that who you mean? I've 'spoken' to her, she's a really nice lady with a love of cats. Those books made me bawl my eyes out.

Awesome! I've just downloaded Erin McCarthy's Houston We Have a Problem, and Size 12 is Not Fat by Meg Cabot . I've read Cathie Linz's Big Girls Don't Cry a few years ago and loved it.

I just stumbled over this thread and did not read the whole thing. If someone has already posted about the Weddings by Bella series by Janice Thompson, I apologize for repeating. But, really, they are worth repeating, as they are enjoyable and light hearted.

Check out Rude Awakening by Veronica Chadwick. It's a 5 star read about a plus size woman and a VERY hot hero who loves all of her curves.

Hi all... I've added Cop's Passion and the Weddings by Bella series to the wish list... removed Courting Miss Hattie... added a couple of racier titles that I believe featured curvy heroines.

I've never heard of the Long Masquerade! I love Madeleine Brent's stories. His heroines are always strong and competent. I'll have to go find that one.

Terese A. Cascio,
"The Long Masquerade" is really great. It starts in Jamaica, where an orphaned young woman, living with her aunt and uncle, is courted by a wealthy and well-regarded bachelor. But upon marrying him, her life becomes a nightmare. The hero is a man with a mission - and his target is her friend, the widowed husband of her former nurse. Lots of plot twists. The story moves around the Caribbean, to England and back to Jamaica. The sub-plot is the hero's best friend (a man) and the overweight woman who has always loved him.

Check out Lynsay Sands's The Perfect Wife. So funny. Ummm, I think that Katie McAlister also had a bunch of plus sized heroines in her books. Sorry blanking on which titles.

So, I'm an analyst by trade. I like to have information in an organized, logical, reusable, findable format so I've created several Listmania lists and I'll keep updating them as I see more stories about curvy women.

Katie McAlister has:

The Corset Diaries
Hard Day's Knight (Signet Eclipse)
Men in Kilts ... this one's my favorite of the three.
