Drove up to QLD today to Xmas shop in Harbour Town.

Went thru 3 litres H2O before 11:00

It was hot, hot, hot

Why do mothers insist on taking babies out in such weather?

Oh, fun! Have a lovely time and get lots of photos.

Have fun, I so jealous, I am trying to find a day where I can go to see my son and grandson. However, it has to be a weekend as we (my son and I) are both working and flights are full this time a year. I will have to bite in the sour apple and drive up, stay in a lousy hotel as the nice one's there are seasonal and drive back the next day. Heck, the boys will be worth it.

Amazed Grace says:
I am one of the ladies of the deep south and most of us still have a collection of paper fans. When I was a youngster I had to go to Cotillion where we learned all the manners and customs a gracious southern lady should learn. It was even more complicated in Victorian times. Google "language of fans" and you will see how every motion made with the fan supposedly had meaning. I shall go back to lurking now.

Thanks, Amazed. I had almost forgotten that. Interesting reminder of times past.

I was having no end of trouble getting a review through. Removed "nipples". Cut out any quotes. Still no. Finally, I changed "Elgin's Marbles" to "Elgin's statues" and it was accepted.

So, Marbles is A Bad Word now?
