Howard's To Die For and Drop Dead Gorgeous are also funny.

C Rushing - are you on goodreads? I ask, because they had a really cool thing for each book that says readers who liked this liked...

I took a look at some of the books on list - Jill Shalvis, Toni Blake, SEP, Kristin Higgins, Rachel Gibson were a few names that I saw listed

If you like Julie James, definitely give Louisa Edwards a try. She writes culinary heroes (hot, hot chefs) with great banter, sexy stories, and a lot of emotion. And, oh, the food!

C Rushing,

I don't think anyone can beat Julie James on the dialogue (I LOVE her books!) but I've got a couple runner ups: Christie Craig books are great and Susan Andersen has several real winners.

Wish I could give you specific titles but I tend to forget the names of books.

K Parks, man thanks alot! Those will keep me busy for maybe a week :) I usually finish a book in a day. So you liked the book "Just the Sexist Man Alive?" Thanks again I really appreciate it!

Just thought of another one Open Season by Linda Howard. One of the funniest books I've ever read. Straight laced, plain librarian and big burly police chief, that likes to get her flustered...you get the picture.

I loved all of Julie James books. Just the Sexiest Man Alive was terrific.
Welcome to Temptation by Jennifer Cruise has a lot of funny banter between all the characters. More than one attraction in this book, but the two main ones...very funny. Great book.
Just got done with Take a Chance on Me by Susan Donovan and it had that, pull you close, push you away. Emma the h, called it the Thomas Two Step. Explosive attraction between Emma and Thomas. Lots of fun.
Bet Me by Jennifer Cruise very funny, again with great back and forth between all the characters. The two main characters don't know what to make of their relationship. Loved it.

I've read a couple of her books and about to read Just the Sexiest Man Alive, but before I started that book I was wondering if there are any more books like hers out there. I really enjoy the arguing and sparring but really attracted to eachother and Julie James does it the best. Thanks!!
