I enjoyed Protecting Plain Jane She is afraid of him at first but only because she is afraid of all strangers.

Finding Grace

H is extremely large, broken nose and bald. I don't know if that makes him look like a thug, but most people are afraid of him.
I'm half way through and so far I am loving it.

Lilah: Oh, wow, thank you so much. :) That's so nice of you! I'm having a bit of a crap day, actually, and that's cheered me right up. I need to re-read some of my own favourites too (er, of other people's obviously, not my own!). It's a pity there aren't many R/T-esque couples in mainstream romance!

Magelet! OMG, I am such a big fan and have been since 2006 when I found "Truth Under Fire" and "Early!" They are two of my most favorite fics ever. Thank you so much for writing and sharing your talent and I am going to revisit ff.net and update myself on your fics.

Exactly! Real life has enough sad endings. I want to know spoilers, especially if the ending ruins the HEA.

Oh, me too. Can't stand getting to the end and finding out it ends bad. I mean, that's why I read romance.

Lilah: That sounds very notorious! :D I feel like I should be hastily denying all knowledge of such people, hee. I do have a fanfic account as Wild Magelet for HP and Tamora Pierce, if that's maybe what you're thinking of?

Mary: I'm always happy to get spoilers on these forums, personally, it's part of the reason I read the threads here. Especially if it's for something like a non-HEA which would put me off reading a book. I'd rather know ahead of time if I'm not going to like the ending!

Sorry, didn't mean to rain on anybody's parade. I was asked some questions about spoiling the books and was replying to them. Some things are too complex for a simple yes or no answer. Reading or not reading Crow's Row is up to you, but it is a good read with an unusual, ambiguous ending. Even with the ending I thought it was worth the read.
