I just finished The Reluctant Fiancee (Harlequin Presents)by Jacqueline Baird and I enjoyed Leon enormously. He is 14 years older than Phoebe. He has been in love with her for years even after she broke their engagement due to a misunderstanding on her part. He constantly teases her hiding his pain and is sometimes sexually aggressive and possessive with her and he uses every opportunity to put her in a situation where she is under his control and protection.

You can never go wrong with Kristen Ashley. ALL of her books have super alphas. R.L. Matthewsons Neighbors from Hell books have amazing alphas AND are hilarious.

Just heard this yesterday and I'm still having a freckin belly laugh over it...H says (he's Scot)...slide your ass over here and I'll show you what God made woman and a well hung Scot for" OMBleepingG. I'd have paid the bar bill and for the room. That come-on line moved into my top 5 and I'm a 30 yr. female bartender. (and yes the lower the top the higher the tips)

Ya know at my age that would have got my attention But I sooo don't think he was trying to be funny. He was just shooting for getting laid..I'm In... just for the originality of the thing

I know it come from one of the authors sites. I'm not sure which one. But if he was that confident he could of looked like Quazimotto and I still would have gone with him just to see if he could back it up.
I'm sorry ladies, I know I sound like such I tramp. but on a real tip, I come from a place called Marcus Hook, it's on the Delaware River in Pa. so that does make me an official Hooker. And I'm a 2x widow, so I'm so free it's sickening (I do miss him!)

I'm not sure what you mean. If your referring to the 'slide your ass thing' in regards to a book. It was on one of the authors sites I'm just not sure which one or who said it. I just couldn't resist passing it on

Hi Everybody, This is Suzanne. I'm so new to these sites that I'm just figuring out that what I post/answer on the string doesn't make to this string. What a putz. Anyway I started the string on the "adult content reading material..." so if some of my posting sound like I'm lost....I am. But I'll be bouncing between the two. However I do have a contribution for you guys. I fell into one it's from a new author (I googled her) the book is a novella but apparently she has a full length comming out soon. But the guy is what your looking for and he sent me to the fridge for a cold drink and a cig (I don't smoke) Hell the neighbors needed a smoke after I finished it. It's UNSPOKEN BY KERRIGAN BYRNE. Between the discription and the action. And remember I don't get shocked to easy I'm the almost 30 yr female bartender. Bleeping HAWT!The cover caught my eye, I nearly tripped the lady behind me

Suzanne I hope you're on goodreads, because you are a hoot.

Has anyone rec'd From Rags it is contemporary but there is one scene that sticks out from memory when the H comes into a bar/club and takes 'shows off' in front of the h. I loved it

Suzanne: Last night as I was reading your postings, I hoped you were not promoting Kerrigan's book because you are a friend, relative, coworker, etc. After looking you up on GR and KB's website, I did read Unspoken. I really enjoyed it. Even at 1000 locations, the story was very well told. So thank you for your rec.

In reply to an earlier post on Jun 11, 2012 4:20:05 PM PDT
Nope not a friend, relative, coworker, etc. Just a new found fan. Appreciate your up front question, but the answer is no. And just for the curious sake of it, why would you think that? What was soo different about my recommendations, (I did make others Lila DiPasqua, Kresley Cole etc.) and I believe my comments were just as enthusiastic and in the same tone as the one for UNSPOKEN. Interesting, get back to me, thanks.
Suzanne

No I haven't. But I'll tell you with a straight face, in some of the dives my co-workes have worked in that is not a big shocker.

Lisa says:
Suzanne: the reason why I questioned your rec was because you were posting the wackiest postings, not really making sense, responding to someone but I couldn't follow. But I looked Kerrigan up, who blogs like a tough lady. Then looked up Unspoken on GR and saw good reviews. So I took a chance since I am a Prime member and used Unspoken as the borrow for this month.

Can you give me massive spoilers for Water by Kissherdraco? Any cheating? I don't like surprises in my FF, so free to spoil all plot points. =P
