Rutile Blue says:
You might try The Scarred Heart by Denise Patricks. The heroine really has a very hard situation, but it is HEA.

The Rake's Rainbow is another good book in this direction.

Come Back To Me H is believed to be dead and h finds out she pregnant with H's child. Everyone keeps telling her to move on but she doesn't believe he's dead. h gets into a serious car accident that leaves her in a coma just as H returns. H thinks she got pregnant by someone else.

I'm a sucker for sad ones, I put that book on my list all the while shaking my head at a man that "can't do the math"..

Storyline reminds me of Wild Card by Lora Leigh in that she also believed her husband wasn't dead....the story line is a totally different one than above, but very very sad

Some reviews stat that Come Back to Me does not have a HEA. Does it? I don't think I can read it without a HEA

I'm not really sure you'd consider it a HEA. Spoiler coming up. Stop reading if you don't want to know.

h dies and baby is delivered. H decides to keep baby without doing DNA test.

I myself did not care for the end. The poor h went through so much just to die in the end without seeing her H again. Also her BFF pulls some stupid stunt that starts the H thinking the baby isn't his in the first place.

I would have to second Knight in Shining Armour. Some people didn't like it, I loved it.

I also teared up in Lover Eternal, the JR ward BDB 2nd book. I think even if you don't like that type of book, it qualifies more in the romance genre.

Old book from the 80's that was more of an epic was The Proud Breed by Celeste DeBlass. Cried a few times in that one.

Loved the Proud Breed, and her Wild Swan trilogy was even better.
