Any books where the heroine is so hurt by the hero that she takes matters into her own hands and takes revenge on him. A very cruel revenge that makes the hero feel very bad and he does a lot to get her back, but she does not give in so easy. She makes it very hard for him to have her back. Thanks

Could be any genre no "bodice rippers", but also with steamy and intense love making between them.

Kate Barley says:
Temptation (Harlequin Presents #310) by Charlotte Lamb & A Past Revenge (Harlequin Presents, No 780) by Carole Mortimer. Both are HPs.

I can't come up with the name of it right now but I'm sure someone knows it. The HP with the heroine who's a flight attendant arrested for drug trafficking who thinks the H set her up.

I remember one recently where the h is an actress who had drugs planted in her luggage by a flight attendant. Is that the one you're looking for?

Maybe? It eventually turns out that a flight attendant did plant drugs in her bag, but I'm pretty sure the h is a flight attendant and the H is a pilot. She thinks he set her up and after she gets out of jail, she has plastic surgery and changes her face and her identity, gets him to fall in love with her again and marry her and then disappears and tortures the crap out of him.

D. Arnold says:
Sweet!!!! A little much with the plastic surgery, but sounds like a good revenge. Does she have to grovel in the end or did H really do it?

aw man, this is gonna haunt me now! I have to go look in my WTFHarlequin file folder since this story is crazy enough that its probably in there

And sure enough, it was there. It's The Judas Kiss (#480) by Sally Wentworth

Not the same one then, because the h is placed on house arrest with an ankle monitor and under the H's control until they discover the truth. She never goes to prison.
