With the upcoming release of Creed, and the knowledge that we are NOT alone in our obsession and total cravings for KA...I wanted to start a new separate threat for all of us that are completely, and utterly in love with Kristen Ashley. So, let's join together and talk of our love for super hot, possessive and über alpha men & the amazing ladies who love them!

I know we all have favorites, my top change often. My number one...never does. I'm a Choas girl...Tack lover all the way. Joe a close second, followed by Hector. I think it would take a miracle for one of the hot KA men to take the top spot.

What do you ladies think of Creed? I haven't read the working chapters because I can't handle the teasing. Does he seem like a man that will steal our hearts?!

Jean says:
Ty. Hank. Joe. Hawk. Tack. Lahn. LUKE. Ty always stays in my top spot but the others shift around depending on which book I am re-reading! And since I'm re-reading Mystery Man, yet again, I am all about Hawk today. :)

Jean I am totally with you with Lahn! A lot of people seem to have an issue with him because of the controversial "claiming" but I think KA played it well and I wasn't really bothered by it. The language barrier actually made me enjoy the book more. My top 2-10 float around depending on what im reading but Tack never moves! I was all Hawk 4 days ago as well! I went back through my DM, I'm thinking about which KA to read next. I don't want to get out of my KA world before Creed. :-)

Jean says:
Oh, the claiming didn't bother me one bit. It was their culture; it was just what they did. The women who lived in that world didn't have even one problem with it. In fact, they looked forward to it. Oh, and I forgot to put Knight on my list. Love him. I think he makes Christian Grey look like a total p*ssy. (Can I say that? LOL)

I'm here!! And have to say I'm happy Creed is coming out on Saturday. That way I don't have to "accidentally" use my hubby's acct to buy it. My weekly book acct will be refilled. Plus, I'm TRYING to finish Breath so hopefully by then I will have.

My favs so far are Tack, Tate, Ty, Joe, Lahn and Knight. I know, I know...I'm way in the minority with Knight.

Jean says:
I'm in the Knight minority right there with you. May I just repeat: LOVE HIM. :)

Posted on Sep 12, 2012 7:42:06 AM PDT
Oh yes, Knight! I loved him. Honestly the whole Daddy stuff didn't bother me. And knowing the back story of his growing up and his mom I don't mind the pimp stuff either. That man was hawt! Plus, even tho he doesn't believe in typical things like holidays and marriage he bends to make his woman happy. He wears a ring, for her. There really isn't a difference other than a piece of paper to me. You could tell he loved her.

I can't believe I forgot Tate! Good lord, I need to go back and read some more KA!

Jean says:
I could have written your post - it is exactly as I feel about all of that. Right up to and including that I can't believe I forgot about Tate. LOL I think the Daddy thing is pretty common in those types of relationships. And I think I prefer it to Master.

Posted on Sep 12, 2012 7:49:35 AM PDT
Great minds think alike! ;-) I'm with you on the daddy/master thing. But, let's be honest...Knight could tell me to call him Santa Claus and I would. Lol. Jean, are you on goodreads?

In reply to an earlier post on Sep 12, 2012 7:58:13 AM PDT
Jean says:
LOL - I agree with that, too! I'm on goodreads but I haven't been active with it. Something I need to get more involved in. :)

If you decide to start using it more come find me. My user name is esharper4 :-)

I totally will. It's really just a problem with a slow computer. I had a lot of trouble with setting up my shelves. New computer is in my future, though, so things are looking good. Off the KA subject, briefly - have you read On Dublin Street by Samantha Young yet? I am recommending it everywhere. Totally loved it and I think you will, too. Awesome book.

Posted on Sep 12, 2012 8:20:38 AM PDT
I understand you on the computer issues. We live in the middle of nowhere so our wifi signal isn't amazing. I do all my goodreads stuff off of my iPhone or iPad. The app is very easy to use.

I have read On Dublin Street! LOOOOOVED it! Her style reminded me of KA a lot so I think that played a big part of it. I looking into more of her books but from what I can tell she is, or was, mainly a YA author. I don't think I will get into her YA books, at least not until they are spoiled and torn apart by us threaders. Lol. If she continues with more books like ODS I'm all over it!

My reading is divided in BEFORE Kristen Ashley and AFTER. I started out reading Mystery Man and I loved it. I thought, ok!! I´m going to read the whole series. Once I got to Tack´s book, I still didn´t believe all her books could hit all my spots. But then I started reading the Burg series and I gave in. I´m completely in love with her writing style and of course, her heroes. Knight´s cover IMO was awful and it took me a while to read it, but I don´t need to say I feel in love with the book and I can´t wait for CREED. I still wish she could give us the Chaos series, though. I will admit, I didn´t get to read the rock chick series, because the first book´s h threw me off. I thought she was a bit annoying, but I guess that´s just me. I´ve recently finished heaven and hell and needless to say, loveeeeed that book too. lol. Kristen Ashley is at my top author list right now!

Yeah, I hope she continues with the Adult Contemporary theme, too. I am not really in to YA books (Hunger Games and The Book Thief notwithstanding). Mostly because of the lack of explicit sex. LOL

I will shut up now and speak only of all things KA - a subject I very much enjoy. ;)

I'm on Goodreads and love it, but I don't participate in the threads. They kind of overwhelm me. I do like keeping up with mine and my friends books, though.

Loved Heaven and Hell. The line that made me laugh out loud in that book (or one of them) was when she said Cooter's idea of flirting was to buy her extra tater tots at the local burger joint.

Curuca- you should revisit the rock chicks. I'll admit book 1 was not my favorite but I promise you they are amazing. I think book 1 was so "off" from the others in the series because Indy and Lee had that "I have always wanted my best friends brother that I have known my whole life" thing going for it. Plus, Indy got on my nerves at times. The rest of the series is (as KA would say) the bomb! If your unsure I'm sure someone could lend them to you. I've already lent mine out so it won't let me again.

Missy- I'm obsessed with goodreads. I only use it to keep up with my books but the friends I have on there are awesome. I've found some great books just from them alone. Come find me!

Jean, I love Heaven and Hell...I haven't ventured into her paranormal books have you?

ES Thanks! I might give it another try.

Yes, I've read everything except Matilda Super Witch - and I'm not feeling any real strong inclination to go there. The paranormals were pretty good, if slightly different from her other books - but only because they are all set in England where people always use their pronouns. LOL Overall, I liked them but I wouldn't say there was anything really memorable about any of them. Worth the read, I guess.

I thought Rock Chick was pretty funny, even if it was a little goofy. Just required a different mindset. And I would have liked it to be a smidge hotter. :) I liked all of them - Rock Chick Renegade was my favorite. But, I must say, I would have preferred Luke to be with Jules. Jules' job and her sexual status were perfect for Vance and his background, but the vigilante thing was perfect for Luke. Maybe the characters of Ava and Jules should have been switched out a little.

ETA: I just wanted to add that I found Ava b-o-r-i-n-g. My least favorite of the RC's.

I loved Vance. I loved Jules. I did not love them as a whole. So maybe your right and had they been switched (Ava/Jules and Vance/Luke) I would have enjoyed them more. I honestly can't pick a favorite Rock Chick. My least favorite was Stella and Mace. Not sure why, I just didn't really love them.

Hey ES...I sent you a GR request. And who are Vance and Jules?

Posted on Sep 12, 2012 9:12:55 AM PDT
Got it! Vance and Jules are from Rock Chick Renagade, book 4 in the RCs
