If you haven't heard the Beatles are being re-mastered for a fall release date. Unfortunately, they are being re-mastered on CD.

However, if you like to raise your voice to EMI and ask them to release the Beatles catalog on SACD, here is how to contact them:

Any classical music lovers out there? If so, here is a web site that offers only classical music on SACD and CD. Look for SACDs in the left Menu.

I always thought the DSD gave the SACD a warmer sound, and you still get 192/24 if you "downgrade it"...but then I think they're better than 180 gram vinyl.

O wow! I have "Love" on a dts 96/24 disc 5.1 and it's awesome. They could've done better on A Day in the Life, so maybe we'll get it...any word on who might produce the 5.1 mixes?

If Sony is so concerned about SACD costs, why don't they reissue more of the remaining great Reiner/CSO recordings, not to mention 99% of the Columbia catalog, including the Bernstein/Mahler recordings reprocessed in Japan and available here only at over $100+ as imports?

I see that Sony/BMG is releasing many recent recordings as Hybrid SACD's on the Red Seal label at poplular prices. This is great news - SACD is a worthy format - superior to Red Book - and despite having been largly abondoned by the major labels, still commands significant interest among audio enthusiasts. I like Stereo SACD, so Hybrid SACD's are what I collect. I purchased most of the Living Stereo SACD reissues, and Sony/BMG has an enormous catalogue, so there are many great recordings to draw from - not to mention worthy new artists. Thank you Sony - keep it up!

Great site.....I have purchased some hard to find titles from them...not inexpensive, but done well.
