Love to shop says:
It's a fine line, isn't it?
Sci-fi is set in space, or is it time-travel as well?
So, does that mean fantasy is all about strange looking people with magical powers?

Sci-fi is anything along the lines of advanced technology, science that isn't really science, but what some ppl may hope to achieve one day (spaceships, genetic modification, computer programs taking over the world, light sabers, etc...)
Fantasy is more magical (princesses and princes, fairies, enchantments, trolls, etc...). Here, everything is explained by the existence of magic, it does not have to make physical sense ("I do believe in fairies" kind-of-thing)
