Where's the "science" and "fiction" in this synopsis? Wrong forum?

Tom Rogers says:
You are probably too young to remember that "The Coneheads" were from France.

I'm sure that logaro is their cousin--a "Pinhead."

"I love French wine, like I love the French language. I have sampled every language, French is my favorite. Fantastic language. Especially to curse with. ... It's like wiping ... with silk. I love it."

Thank you Ronald Craig
the purpose of the book was to show how the French American class brought something exciting to close to one million American elementary school children by exposing them to French culture and language. Many participants in the book say that the program was such an eye opener for them and had great influence on their schooling first and life second.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with all
André Girod the author
keep up the good message!!

I can see that you all have some notion of French, the kind of French learned some 50 years ago. I have seen some funny books in French such as " la plume de ma tante" . We had the same type of phrases while learning English. One of them was '" My taylor is rich!"
Have fun with French for I have fun with English!!

Alas, I don't speak or write French very well, but I've read a bit of SF in the language, some Dufour, Houellebecq, Vonarburg and Wul. And some Eschbach nobody's gotten around to translating into English yet.

R. Wilde says:
Why would I want to waste time with garbage like this when I can just get translations of Jules Verne's books?

Hey is this the same book:

I peeked inside the book and I've got some ESL friends who might find the book worth adding to their libraries.

It is the same book but written in French some pages are indeed available
is it worth adding to librairies ? One must make its own opinion but many former participants ( a total of 80 000 in 20 years) have done so!
