(AMAZON OFFICIAL)
In ancient times...students of the Force possessed a most valuable book, passed from Master to Padawan. After the destruction of the Jedi temple, only one copy survived. It is now passed on to you.

The highly anticipated Star Wars release, The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force, is now available on Amazon.com. Read author Daniel Wallace's insider notes about writing the book, which were just posted on Amazon's Omnivoracious blog (http://www.omnivoracious.com/2010/09/traveling-the-jedi-path-with-author-daniel-wallace.html) and be sure to check out The Jedi Path (and its mechanized vault!) on the product page for more details, trailers, and photos.

I've several family and friends who are more than likely salivating at the mouth for this! My only gripe is that they've not yet invented a real lightsaber for people to use; it'd be pretty handy aroudnd the house.

Hmmm... Christmas is coming, let's see who's been naughty and who's been nice...

T. J. Cook says:
Question: Does Mr. Lucas bless off on these jedi works? I understand that permissions are granted for some writings, my query is to the depth of his involvement. Did he coach the writer through some of the ideas or is this an independent thought item?

I love Star Wars. Just finished reading The Zygan Emprise by Yolanda Pascal, 99 cents on Kindle. George Lucas, film this book.

Amazon is okay to publicise a book through the forums, but independent authors aren't...?

It was posted on September 30th 2010.
Meaning that it's nearly a year old, thus it is "grandfathered" and not subject to the new EULA rules.
Which is pretty convient when you think about it.

If you truly want to be a samurai (jedi knight) and learn the way of chi or ki (the force), try reading THE BOOK OF FIVE RINGS by Japan's greatest and most famous swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. You just might come away with the an enlightened view of life as well as nothing but contempt for George Lucas.

Both of the reviews are highly unreliable, as they are by one-review wonders with blank profiles. Or did you write them under fake accounts? Because if you are happy to self-promote in the discussions despite that being against Amazon's Terms of Service, you obviously won't have a problem with self-reviewing, despite that being against the Reviewing Guidelines.

Pretty sad when Amazon violates its own TOS. Sure, they technically have a right to, but it still smacks of hypocrisy: "don't promote any books here, keep it clear of spam - except for ours!" Sure makes us indies feel like part of the team! Go team! yay...
