Can the Merry Mad Rodent and his Mickey Mouse Club be stopped? I don't think so. Resistance is futile.

Vampires, UFOs, butts that glow in the dark, it's all the same. Just don't light a match near any of them.

It is not climbing the mountain that wears you out, it's the pebble in your shoe.

Do Nothing Club rules:

1. nothing is to be started or finished at anytime

2. thinking is allowed but only in moderation

3. speech should be kept to a minimum

4. to do nothing 40 hours per week, overtime will be paid once
per month by days off to do nothing

5. members are advised that it is better to do nothing than
something and that something should only be performed
after long spells of doing nothing and only after
something which entails doing nothing can you then do
something

6. when doing nothing, nothing should be done

7. if you should feel that you may want to do something
contact a fellow member of the d.n.c. for support and
guidance

8. if a member is found to be doing something other than doing
nothing, he could be asked to do nothing for longer periods
of time

9. doing nothing is a past time for those members that do
nothing

10. members should not read these rules for that may be
classed as doing something and would result in having
to do nothing longer

If you have been abducted from the secure boosum of your trailer park by aliens, I want to hear your story. Don't worry, I won't judge. Gilbert?

The older the violin, the sweeter the music . . . though it plays less often.

If aliens appear, stay perfectly still, and do nothing.

If you are traveling in a spaceship at the speed of light, and turn on the headlights, does anything happen?

Yes, web nannies get thrown out an airlock.

"The 'Science Fiction forum' is being plagued by a senseless thread that I, and surely others, would like to see deleted because it does "not relate to the topic of the board" as per your guidelines. This thread is entitled "America's Galactic Foreign Legion (Book 16) Galactic Disney" not only promotes the user's own book (spam, which is also against your guidelines), but it also contains senseless material in regards to science fiction. I would appreciate it if the user, Walter Knight, were to be told to cease this activity."

A true measure of a man is how he treats someone for whom he has no use for.

A great man in my neighborhood said that. But, he died. Father Time is still undefeated.
