I know it's science fact not science fiction, but for this forum not to mark the passing of the first man to set foot on another body in the solar system would just be plain wrong.
A truly great man may he rest in peace.

I remember watching the moon landing on TV when I was young. Neil Armstrong and the other astronauts were heroes to me.

Neil better watch out for the heavenly body that was Phyllis Diller. She is on the prowl up there.

RIP - a great man - I saw him when he visited his Scottish roots in the 1970's. I was just a kid at the time and he swept past in the back of this huge black police Jaguar. But, he had the most open and sincere smile that I have ever seen and I felt that he was waving at me personally. I'll never forget that moment for as long as I live.

A hero that other heroes looked up to. And from every single thing I ever heard, one heck of a guy.

Sad day. A true hero.

One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.

Neil, you live on in our hearts. R.I.P.
