Is Hank Green a credible source?

RR says:
I watched part of it. He seems to give a good intro to the subject. His sourcing is good enough. Couldn't find anything about his education.

Doctor Who says:
I agree with RR. The the information seems accurate.

Personally, I can't stand his style. If you want a really well done video about human evolution, I recommend you turn to the BBC. Specifically, Walking With Cavemen. This is a very well done program both visually and in terms of the information presented. It was done in 03 so you should be able to located a copy at either your local library or similar if you don't want to buy it outright.

William Henry "Hank" Green II (born May 5, 1980, in Birmingham, Alabama[1]) is a professional entertainer and entrepreneur. He is best known for his video blogs with his brother, John Green on YouTube under the channel name Vlogbrothers.[2] Hank also has a secondary channel that he calls 'HanksChannel', and a gaming channel called HankGames. Green is heavily involved in educational online video projects, including CrashCourse (again, co-run with his brother), wherein he teaches Biology and Ecology, and John teaches World History and Literature; and SciShow, which delivers basic and more complex scientific concepts at a level that is easy to comprehend.

Thank you, all.

I was pretty sure most of the information is accurate, but I wondered more about his credentials.

RR: <He seems to give a good intro to the subject.>

Doctor: <The the information seems accurate.>

Did he get his information from Walking with Caveman?

RR: <His sourcing is good enough. . . Couldn't find anything about his education.>

noman, can you summarize what those 2 (4?) places say about human evolution, please?

RR, I wondered if his brother, John, is (was) his post-high school educator. Most people don't give tutoring information in their bios, and that's why we're not seeing it.

anne: I wager you're a lot of years older than Hank.
