Now that the "god-particle" have been found: can we create a time machine?, How?

In reply to an earlier post on Jul 9, 2012 8:23:02 AM PDT
Doctor Who says:
Just because we found the god-Dam(sic) particle does not mean we can make a time machine. A time machine requires a stable wormhole, and we don't yet have the physics to fully describe one.

Also, as I hinted above, the god particle business is purely the fault of an editor. The book was supposed to be called the god-dam(sic) particle.

I have eddied myself to prevent amazon from complaining. I trust everyone can supply there own "n".

Bubba says:
The Higgs Boson, or "goddamn-particle" might have been found, it has not been verified.

no

unless you mean into the future
then just wait

The same way as before. Ride a rocket at a substantial fraction of the speed of light for a while. When you get back to earth, you'll be far in the future.

There is no way to go back in time, though.

Not exactly... But at least now we all know why we weigh so much! (Thanks, science, for adding 180 lbs to my girth. Thanks a lot. No wonder Haynes wants to discontinue funding the search for truth! Sometimes, the truth hurts.)

The Higgs field gives mass to particles. It might be possible, if we can learn to manipulate it, to counter the effect of gravity. This will open up the solar system to mining and colonization.

What does the Haynes field add? Is it the source of all un-knowledge in the universe? Is anyone working on manipulating it? But, be warned, we might all get sucked into the great black hole of ignorance currently populated by CH!

Check with Jeff Marzano. According to him the ancient Egyptians had discovered the secret of anti-gravity and used it to float the stones of the pyramids into place. So probably somewhere in one of the tombs there is a description of how to manipulate the Higgs field. Only they probably called it something else, maybe the Tuthankamen field.

af,

Your H is in the wrong place.

(I now await horse's obligatory no vote.)

Nothing wrong with my H, if you ask me!

Jeesh, the nerve of some guys!

The God particle is so named mostly by the press rather than by anyone with good reason to call it such. God is always invoked in the buildup to a major physics discovery. It sells because we are mostly a nation of religious people. God particla or God something is kind of like "Closer than you think" or "Most people do not realize" which are just basic time tested tags to hook readers.

Haynes is just someone who likes to read his own rants. I have yet to see him participate in the debate. He never responded to my posts in times past so I stopped bothering with his.

Its amazing what the public and the press latch on to. Remember when the "Big Bang" was a derogatory term?

The public latches, the press dispatches. When they put out an article, especially a scientific one. They try to communicate it to a mass audience at a 7th grade level in order to maximize sales.

Hmmm, lets see. Just make up a bunch of BS and call that debating? Where did you get your education, toys are us?

I wonder if we can find the particle that is responsible for mass in the universe, why can't we destroy them? Could this be the weight loss breakthru?

No, but you could lose an easy three pounds by eating whatever brain food Haynes is eating. (Of course, it'll probably show up again on your butt.)

The Higgs Boson particle could certainly revolutionize Physics in the next 10 to 100 years.

Have you ever heard of The Philadelphia Experiment ?

It happened back in 1943. They used Al Einstein's theories about time and gravity. One of the goals of the experiment was optical and radar invisibility for Navy ships. But there was also a hidden agenda.

Einstein had stated that if people build a machine and make it powerful enough and sophisticated enough it would come alive. And that's exactly what happened with the time machine apparatus. They could not shut it down using any normal methods like cutting off the power. They had to finally smash the equipment with axes. But in the mean time they had opened up a rift in the space / time continuum.

Einstein. Tesla. Dr. John von Neumann. They were all involved at various times and in varying capacities.

Apparently the greys also became involved. Don't ask me why I don't know and probably don't want to know.

The low budget DVD I'm showing below contains interviews with Al Bielek and his brother Duncan Cameron. The reason they have different last names is shocking believe me. But they both participated in the experiment as did their brother Jimmy who did not survive.

Lj3d says:
You recently stated that you thought the moon landings were faked. You even elaborated by claiming Apollo 13 was faked in Iruris faked moon landing thread. So how is it if we can conduct something as sophisticated as the Philadelphia experiment would have to be for it to do what is claimed of it, yet we cannot land on the moon? Not to mention the P.E. was supposed to have been conducted in 1943, or over a quarter of a century before we couldn't land on the moon.

Could you shed a little light on this?

Back to Reality!

LOL!

How are you going to function if you're mass-less?

Ha ha. Good one.
