I'm looking into purchasing a sex toy on amazon & I see some say "shipped discretely" while others do not mention anything about the items packaging.

Based on your experience how are sex toys packaged? Regular amazon.com brown box?

I have purchased things from many websites and they always come in discrete packaging and if the company name is a give a way they will have a seudo name for credit card statements.

Got an Hitachi Magic Wand shipped from Amazon -- not bought specifically to use as a sex toy in my case but it was packaged this way. It was shipped in a regular amazon brown box, along with some other items i ordered. The Magic Wand was wrapped in black cellophane plastic wrap so as to disguize the product. You shouldn't worry about your privacy if you order from http://amazon.com, but it might vary if you buy from a third party company listed on amazon.

Yes, regular plain ol' amazon.com brown box. If you're really worried, go to Walgreen's. They have some great ones over near the heating pads and ice packs. Seriously.

what about overseas shipments that require a customs slip. on a customs slip it has to say what the item is. is it going to say something corny but obvious.....

Hmm... I'd be interested in what kind of sex toy is worth purchasing from another country. Must be pretty outstanding.

Not so much ordering from another country, but from the US shipped to another country. I just ordered from toys for my wife, but the Amazion stuff comes usually with a customs tag that simply says unkwon. The military folks don't mess with it because the shippers are commercial, not private.

do the charges on your card say amazon or the company who is selling through amazon?

Janelle,
Mine came with a huge picture pasted on the plain brown wrapper showing the item being used by a skanky ho.
There was an arrow drawn on the package pointing to the thing & a scrawled message that said....Can you BELIEVE that GW BOUGHT THIS THING??

My mailman actually rang my doorbell to deliver it personally.
He said he wanted to make SURE it got into the RIGHT HANDS!!!

Can you believe that?

No, I wouldn't either......never happened.

No need to worry. There is never any mention on the box as to what it is and you can't tell anything by the company name. Place the order and have fun when your package arrives.

When I have bought personal items through A&E, it always comes in a discrete package. Nothing on it says what it is nor does it say where it's from. In fact the Company name is "PHE" that sent me the mystery box. Currently I have a few personal items coming in from Amazon and there is no mention of the company I bought them from on my card, just Amazon Marketplace Billing Center. So no worries, besides how many people out there who do judge aren't secretly using something similar themselves.....

Yeah, discreetly shipped. That is, until it gets lost in the mail and you have to call and fight with customer service about why your dildo didn't get delivered! Yeah, I seriously thought she could feel the heat off my face through the phone. True story. Lol.

yes an Amazon box, and packed discreetly, BUT if you let someone else uses your Amazon account, it shows in the history, AND your email account will get a "rate your purchase" notification..... so be careful there!

I've ordered sex toys from a company called sextoyloveworld before and they were totally discreet. When the item arrived it was packaged in a plain box, so anything could have been inside and noone would know. When i checked my bank statement it didn't have the companys name either so it would have been impossible for anyone to have seen that i brought a sex toy. I was really pleased then all i had to do was test it out. x

dumb question but figured this would be the best thread to ask it in.

If you order toys that is sold/shipping directly by amazon, you don't receive any unwanted mail right lol? I still have most of my important mail sent to my parents house and the last thing I want is a catalog to show up in their mail box advertising sex toys lol.
