Godswrath says:
In the past couple weeks several of my Subscribe & Save subscriptions have been canceled. This is pretty disappointing, Amazon. I'm hoping others chime in so Amazon realizes they are going in the wrong direction.

In case anyone would like to see exactly what messages I received:

"We're writing to let you know that we are no longer able to offer Controlled Labs Orange Triad: Multivitamin, Joint, Digestion, And Immune, 270-Count Bottle as part of the Subscribe & Save program at Amazon.com. We have canceled your subscription and no new orders associated with this subscription will be created. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Another version:

"Our records indicate that you have a Subscribe & Save subscription to Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard, Delicious Strawberry, 5-Pound. We're writing to inform you that the manufacturer, Optimum Nutrition, has decided to no longer participate in the Subscribe & Save program. Unfortunately, we will be canceling your Subscribe & Save subscription to Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard, Delicious Strawberry, 5-Pound and no new orders of this product will be shipped."

Pretty disappointing. Without the discount from subscribe and save I won't be buying most of my purchases through Amazon anymore. Other sites have better deals after considering the rebate codes they offer. Sucks to lose Amazon's great service. I'm worried in another 2 weeks my entire subscribe and save items will become unavailable.

Hiyall says:
COSTCO has 6 pound Muscle Milk light (van or choc) for less than 40 bucks.

MML has an extra gram of fat with 2 extra grams of protein,
otherwise, MML has the same nutritional profile as ON.

I've decided to stock up at COSTCO and down with ON!

Hope this helps a bit.

If I have read this right--Amazon is not the problem it is the company that has the product. Am I right??

I have been a member of Sub and Save for quite some time. Not only are most items less expensive but they are available. Most stores cannot make this claim. The ease of making changes in delivery, amounts etc. and customer support is great. I'm not saying Sub and Save works for every item or everyone. Just like V8 at Sams Club cost more than at the grocery store. Like every shopping trip, learn what works for you, Sub and Save works for me.

Yep, my Crystal Light subscribe and save was cancelled too; so disappointed in Amazon :(

With almost 50 subscribe and save subscriptions I have saved 100's of dollars on essential products in my household. Yes, occasionally a product is no longer available and the subscription is cancelled, but that is the reality of inventory. Amazon is an excellent site to locate a wide variety of products. Desirable products, convenience, and saving money, what more does a consumer want?

I agree I am very disappointed that they are canceling the Subscribe and Save. I really hope they change their minds.

My subscribe and save subscription was cancelled without warning. I subscribed to receive Tasters Choice Gourmet coffee and had received about 6 months worth of coffee.
Yet my subscription was cancelled without notice.

I just got a cancellation notice, too. The item cancelled is one I use daily. I have had one other sub

Amazon is a supplier/distributor not a manufacturer. This sort of thing is out of their hands. I suggest you contact the manufacturer about them cancelling within the subscribe & save program. Maybe if they get enough contact they will reconsider being in the S&S program.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your concerns. Amazon will be more likely to listen to a collective voice, so if you are reading this and you are also disappointed in Subscribe and Save cancellations, I urge you share them. Thank you.

Regarding Beth J. Casebolt and C. Mcdonald's posts:
To my best of knowledge, it appears only some of the cancellations are due to the manufacturer, as a matter of fact, only one of the cancellation notices I received mentioned it was due to the manufacturer's decision.

PS Thank you for sharing your new source of protein Hiyall. I too have gone elsewhere for my canceled subscribe and save items. I will definitely look into Muscle Milk Light, as I am also a Costco member. It is a shame because it is Amazon that is losing out in the long run.

I can't believe Hiyall even recommends Muscle Milk as a replacement for Gold Standard protein. It may not be on subscribe and save, but you can still get it on Amazon, and it is much better quality than Muscle Milk.

This is very disappointing and upsetting. My notification letter just saying "that we are no longer able to offer" the product. So, is that Amazon or the manufacturer? I don't know. So, I guess I will try to contact both. But, the product I receive...this is the only place that I can get the product in the size I need and for a price I can somewhat afford, considering the quantity I need. My daughter has special needs and this is the only product that fits and we go through a LOT of it! :_(

Lost 3 out of my 4 regulars. They either were dropped or changed size/price.

I am also disappointed when one of mine is cancelled, especially when I just got on it, BUT I am so thankful for the ones I do get. The convience of coming to my door, 15% off, no shipping cost, WHAT more can you ask for.

DMark says:
Like some have said prior - it seems this is Amazon notifying you that the Supplier either is not making that product, or the Supplier has elected to no longer participate in Amazon's Subscribe and Save - so it has much less to do with Amazon than most of you realize.

I would suggest looking again on Amazon to find a competing product that is on the S&S program so the SUPPLIER will see that their product should have stayed on that program.

i agree all of the planter's nut products (5) of them have been cancelled in the last two months and there is nothing to substitute for them. I am disabled and have depended on subscribe and save to fill in things for me so i can continue to pretend things are
normal. there is never a reason, just a lame i'm sorry. It is a real drag, no i have to wonder if all the subscribe and save things i have will disappear.

I got one of these notices today. I set up a subscription for Nips candy to go to my grandmother every six months. She has one every day for a treat! Hopefully I'll be able to find them elsewhere when it's time to restock...

I received two notices about one product. This is a product that is horribly expensive on the regular grocery shelf and I usually stock up with S/S. I'm now glad I did stock up on the last order. My S/S coffee was cancelled without notice and now it costs way to much on Amazon. Amazon sells Dunkin Donuts k cups for twice as much as you can get them from the donut shop. Not sure what is happeing.

I was happy to but I thought the prices were locked, instead they went up big time and I was no longer saving money.
