Subscribe and save is not what they say it will be. After 2 months they cancelled sending the coffee I ordered and did not send an update with the amount they were taking from my debit card. Would not mess with this again.

I disagree!!! I have been using Subscribe and save for aboutQuaker Instant Oatmeal Lower Sugar, Flavor Variety Pack, 10-Count Boxes (Pack of 4) 6 months and LOVE IT. I get a product I can not find in the grocerie stores I go to -- lower sugar -- I can cancel a month, add a extra one as we get closer to Christmas. Have not had any problem with the billing. They did tell me of the price increase on one of the other orders, but is still less than I have seen in the stores.

Sorry for your bad experience with Subscribe and Save. I find it great though, along with my Amazon Mom discounts, I can't find any price lower what with 15% off then an additional 30% off AM AND shipped free to my door in 2 days. This is great when we're running low on baby stuff.
I do miss my Mighty Leaf Organic Jasmine Green Tea on Subscribe...boy what a deal that was but it's no longer offered.

I've had two items cancelled in the last week! I am not a happy camper. I guess amazon is breaking down like everything else in America!

Planters NUT-rition Mix (Macademias, Cashews and Almonds), Lightly Salted, 9.75-Ounce Cans (Pack of 3) I just increased this order earlier today. I just got a e-mail that says it has shipped, and this is a inbetween order. I am sorry that others are having problems, all I can say is that so far I have not. Lets hope it stays that way!!!

Erm, in-stocks do fluctuate based upon demand and so if the product is no longer available or the negotiated price is no longer available then your order will change. As long as you keep track of the future orders and not use a DEBIT card then many of the problems you encountered can be avoided. Subsrcibe and save has saved me time and money. Many of the products which are and have become popular are not available in retail brick and mortar stores and the convenience with the low cost far outweigh any negative experiences.

I agree, but why not use a debit card? How else do you pay?

I hear a number of people have had issues with Amazon.com Subscribe and Save. I order a few different products from Subscribe and Save. I have never had a problem receiving, changing and receiving changes to my Subscribe and Save program. i am surprised to see people having issues/difficulties with the program, since Amazon has always responded to any questions I ever had in the past concerning orders in general.

Subscribe and Save has worked well for me, but I am hugely disappointed in the recent price increases! I have been very loyal to Amazon because of their consistently lower prices and great deals on shipping and purchase from them even when the price is slightly more; however, the recent price increases and lower discounts on subscribe and save/amazon mom are making me question their dependability. Might not be the first place I look from now on.

I think they mean don't use a debit card if your balance is precarious and a price increase could cause problems for you. As in, you have 1 dollar left after your bills, and the item get a price increase so stuff bounces. That sort of thing.

Never the first place I look, but generally the place I end up at. Mostly because the price plus shipping in other places is higher, or about the same - and without the convience of regular deliveries.

I suggest those people who don't get the "about to deliver" e-mails,
1. check their accounts to make sure they asked to be notified, as you do have the option not to be and may have accidently clicked it.
2. Check your spam filter, if you delete it without reading it even once, your spam filter may make sure you never see it again. Some may even filter it out the first time.
I know when my "stuff" is coming, so if I don't see an e-mail I would go looking for it, same as for my "bills" that are on autopay. I autopay for convience, I still want to see the bill, and I go looking for it if I don't get it. It's usually in the spam folder.

I totally agree!!! This is a sham! I've actually tried to cancel my direct order for 6 months and they keep shipping! It costs me more to return the Pampers that they'll refund. This has been a miserable experience!!! I just keep loosing money!!!

I am sorry that some people are having such problems, once again I will say I have not had any.
I have stopped 2 of the orders -totally- and never got any more from them on those orders.

Returns are free ... if you follow the automatic process and click the right buttons and print out the address label, you don't have to pay a penny. Of course, it's also that easy to cancel an order.

Please walk us thru the process you are following in attempting to cancel your order. We might be able to tell you what you are doing wrong.

Use a CREDIT card. Big difference. It's an easier fix for both parties and for the bank to fix also.

The return shipping is free and if this were happening to me for the past 6 months I would consider that I was doing something incorrect in the cancellation process and go from there. If I had cancelled an order and it showed up once I would understand and quickly remedy the situation but if this is happening consecutively every month for 6 months then I don't the problem is on Amazon's end and more of a logistical PEBKAC situation.

I have to agree with you Friday. My coffee was canceled by Amazon on the 19th. talking about NOT being a happy camper! I depend on them to send my coffee every month, and I don't want to have to switch brands for convenience sake. People at work don't like me if I don't have my continuous caffeine fix. This is NOT good for Amazon and those who have to deal with me. :-)

I have had no problems with cancellations. I have changed my delivery dates on subscribe and save many times. I get all changes to my orders by e-mail. Amazon is on my contact list so it does not go to spam. Amazon cancelled 2 orders but I went to see why and the products were low and probably not going to be the same deal. To me that's not a problem but an opportunity to try something new. I love Amazon and the ease of delivery.

i have been using subscribe and save for about a year or so; no problems. if there is a change you get a notice if you want to change you get a notice. k-cups and household items that i always use are great to have shipped on a schedule, you can adjust if you need to. what you must do though is know when the ship dates are near and check your e=mails. otherwise you will get a delivery on time. i think problems occur when people do not recognize a shipment notification from a solicitation.

Have gotten coffee, microderm facial wash, and other stuff too.
I think it's really great.

Amazon is really with it! Love Amazon and love subscribe and save.

I always receive an e-mail from Amazon prior to any shipment and I review the updated price. In my experience, it's usually lower. I have skipped shipments, not because of price, ut because of my own overstock... so far no issues doing that. When I recently moved and the shipping/ billing addresses didn't add up, Amazon put the shipments on hold until I responded.
Best part, I'm paying half of the retail price.
