I am new to this and was excited when I found lotions, razors and a few other items at a great price a few months ago. I came back to hopefully find more great items! I also checked my current subscriptions and all of them were at least $2 more! I thought that once you signed up that the price would remain the same. Guess not!
I am so disappointed. This is something that people really need to watch and be aware of. I hope others are more in the know than I was!
Not such a great deal after all! I should have read the fine print!

Glad you posted this, I use Amazon.com a lot and this is a little disappointing, however as you said we need to read the fine print - let the buyer beware!

let's be real people. prices go up. go to your local store and do some investigation before randomly placing an order. I myself find this service to be of great benefit. more items off my shopping list saves me time and money going back and forth to the local grocer.

I've read other discussions and its been said that it is the fault of the vendor in raising prices.

Sometimes the price goes down. I only have one subscription and it's gone down in price 6% since I signed up a year or so ago.

I didn't know the price of my subscribe & save had gone up $3/bottle until this last shipment, when the total charged to my credit card was almost $10 higher than normal. Not only do I not like that this happened, I am furious that it happened without any notification or approval from me!

Do you get a pre-send notice of your subscription? With computers, that should be automatic. You can check your inventory to see if you need more and they can let you know if the price has changed so you can make an informed decision. If something is in your cart and the price changes, it does so automatically but doesn't leave the cart. It should be the same for s/s.

Plus, if the prices go down, they will not fulfill at the lower price but at the price that you were charged before. So they adjust prices when they go up, but do not give the same courtesy when the prices decrease.

I would say its the fault of government raising taxes and creating uncertainty in the marketplace... jmo :)
