I'm looking for a small tablet (4" or smaller) with a USB port. Please get back to me as soon as possible because I've seen larger tablets but they won't work with what I'm trying to do.

You're out of luck on that. At 4", you're looking at a media player rather than a tablet, and generally those are all going to use micro USB or mini USB to save on size.

Have you looked at the Samsung Galaxy Player or the Note? The Player comes in 4 and 5 inch size and has usb slot. The Note is a 5n inch cell phone

I have both the 4" and 5" Galaxy Player and they do have USB input but as far as I know they don't have host port ability. I read a lot of reviews of them before I bought them and I never saw that mentioned.

I think I remember that the Archos 43 does have USB host ability if you get a special adapter for it. I'm not 100% sure I'm right about that but I think I am and it's something you could look into.

Another alternative would be to get the 4 inch galaxy player and use something like the Airstash which connects using bluetooth and you can storage anything on sd cards. Just a thought

The archos 28, archos 32, and archos 48 are all pocket devices wth us host ability, granted that you buy the USB otg adapter. Now what is this plan of yours?

Well what I'm trying to do is get a camera to put live. Video feed from a small camera straight into the device via usb. I would like to thank everybody else that gave me names of devices to look up and research.

To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a tablet or media player device that will take in a video feed. Besides the USB port, drivers for the camera and software to pull in the feed are the hurdles. Is this something you can do with the camera already under Windows or iOS?
