I sent in books over 2 weeks ago now and the service is still saying they have not received my books. Is this normal? What is the average time it takes?

I don't know but mine was just over two weeks ago and I still haven't heard either. Glad I'm not the only one. :)

I mailed a book on May 30th and It just now made it to Kentucky. Literally just made it there today. No reason why it should take that long to have something mailed.

Also, I had purchased two book about 3 weeks ago and it took 4 extra days past the estimated delivery date for me to receive my books. This is what my tracking information says: Arizona, Texas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, Louisiana. I live in Louisiana by the way. Again, no reason for all the extra stops it made.

If it was a book on travel, maybe it was gathering more information for you. The church here in Oberlin, Ohio, once had to track a shipment and found out it had wound up in Oberlin, Kansas. I didn't even know there WAS an Oberlin, Kansas.

Ugh!! This is so frustrating! I had been given such good reviews of this program and it is not working as well as I had been told!

I suspect that shipping, trade-in acknowledgement and processing are slow because it is the end of the school year (May/June) They must be swamped.

The time it takes the book to get from you to Amazon, is in no way under Amazon's control.

well they have an option to sell it to far more better buyback companies or even at their bookstores .... so it wont be standing there taking space they just need to search a better option ...

"Far more better buyback companies?" You went to school? "More better?" Perhaps you should return your education for a refund, rather than your books. You don't seem to have received a very good one.

Did you get your gift card yet?

The tracking shows the books I shipped to the trade in program arrived a month ago and I have been waiting for funds to be added to my gift card ever since. Where is my money ?

Blinken says:
Jesse, you do have to wait a bit, but a month is definitely outside the norm. All you have to do is use the Help link at the top of any of the Amazon pages, then the Contact Us button to chat with an Amazon customer service rep. They usually clear it right up for you, though the resolution may be a bit different for everyone, depending on the situation.
