i am really disgusted and have had enough of calling amazon customer service and getting a forgenior i.e. phillipines,india etc. first can not understand them, need to repeat over and over explaning what my question/problem is!!! worse than trying to talk to a drunk!!!! what should be a simple 5 minute call ends up being a 30-40 minute call, if i hear one more,tank ou i put ou hold one minute please tan ou!!!!!!!!!! then i wait 5 or more minutes this happens over and over and over!!!!! come on amazon hire american!!!?? high school kids would be much better and could surely use the money especially in inner cities,college kids,hell go to prison system inmates could pay thier fines with pay!! hire american!i am done with amazon!!! s.c. shesko usmc ret (american--- good old u.s.a.)

Customer Service agents in call center don't understand English. Gave one my name 3 times, even spelled it for him. He kept asking for my first name. He is too stupid to be answering phones. Asked to speak to a supervisor. Got put on hold. No one ever picked up line. Is there any number to call to reach someone in US who can understand English?

So, you're order wasn't completely processed because of something like an expired card, a card or account entry error on your part, or insufficient funds because you chose the wrong card/account during checkout...

...and you're waiting to get on a call where you can yell at some poor customer service associate whose fault any of this is not?

I mean, I'm sorry for your frustration, but 'billing error' I have never, never had with Amazon, and it sounds like that end of it was your fault.

And, let's have some logic and compassion here - "lied to me and said it was on a truck" is a crazy misstatement of 'the CS associates can only tell you what their computer screen readout is telling them'. They're not the ones loading trucks, and it's hardly in their best interest to 'lie to you' so they didn't. You just want to misstate it that way because your frustrated and all worked up about this. I'm sorry it happened, but I don't see how 'billing error' is their fault - unless you'd like to explain to me how.

(And, the old - 'they somehow charged an old card of mine' will get you as much sympathy as the 'amazon messed up and sent an order to my old address!' one I've heard dozens of times. We all know they only charge or ship to the options you select during checkout, and any errors therein were because you paying close enough attention during)

If you did have a problem communicating with a first level CS associate, you can always respond to the follow up email you get about the experience and say your problem wasn't resolved and be able to speak with a manager or more senior CS person. Which it sounds like hopefully you've already initiated.

I'm sure they'll sort it out for you - but keep in mind whoever you're speaking to on the phone - it wasn't their fault. And they're just a person, trying to so a job to the best of their ability, just like you do.
