There is currently a beta test in progress which allows non-Pro sellers to edit existing listings and create new listings. It is strictly by invitation only, however.

In order to list a book in Amazon's catalog, you must be a ProMerchant Seller. A ProMerchant seller pays 40.00 per month and makes them exempt from a .99 per listing fee.

Only the premium sellers, or whatever they're called, can create new product listings. The ones that pay the fee to escape the per-transaction charge, and have enough sales volume to justify it. Casual sellers with the standard free seller account can't create new product listings. They can only sell what is already in the catalog.

How do I list an edition of a book that's not already on Amazon? There are other editions of my book but not the exact version of the book and I can't figure out how to list this book. Thank you!
