Unfortunately, while some encyclopedia owners are a bit overly hopeful about the value of their complete set of what were originally very expensive books, in reality they tend to not be worth much, at least not financially. There are some people that like collecting these kinds of things, due to the nice glimpse into history that they provide, but other than that, modern computers and the internet have virtually made the traditional encyclopedia obsolete, and as such, not highly sought after. You have a set that is not old enough to have high historical significance, while being old enough to not be very useful or reliable for a modern reader or researcher. This makes its value very low, but if you can find someone interested, you may be able to get a small amount of money for it.

ETA: Whoops. I didn't realize this thread was that old. Sorry. I usually look, but forgot to this time, and it was on the first page.
