@ Heather,

I saw your self promotion the first thread I opened - no need to keep repeating it across multiple threads.

BTW - the majority of readers have left - no point self promoting here any more

The Return
5 stars Night Owl Reviews
The Return is the first in a series about the Christian prophecy of the eventual return of Jesus. I found the book to be a fascinating read, well-written and engaging. While it is similar to The DaVinci Code, it is at the same time quite different. I give this book 5 stars and encourage everyone to read it.

The City of Shadows

I just finished this and thought it was a real find.

Excellent feel for time and place and wonderful characters. Has something to offer most readers the novel being thriller/mystery.

@ The Reader,

I had never heard of Trevanian but I checked after seeing your post.

I've downloaded Shibumi based on the synopsis, reviews and your rec.

Thank you

love John Sandford's Prey series, with Lucas Davenport. Have read all 20+ at least twice. Not as crazy about his Virgil Flowers series. Also a couple of new authors to try. David Bishop, who has 5 or 6 books out now, and Christopher Bartley. I've only read one of his, They Die Alone, but it was a darned good one.

$6.99 for a 96 pages is pretty pricey for your book.

Shadows by D. M. Imbordino was great. Read it in two days. Haven't seen any more by this author. Must be new. I hope there is more. I am hooked.

I am "hooked" on Tome Lowe's Sean O'Brien series beginning with False DawnA FALSE DAWN ((Mystery/Thriller)), as well as Rebecca Forster's Witness series HOSTILE WITNESS (legal thriller, thriller) (The Witness Series,#1). Both authors write with fabulous description and develop the characters so well I feel I know them and can't wait to read the next story in the series to find out what happens next in their lives and relationships. Love it!

I posted this recommendation on the Good Thriller Cafe thread this morning.

A lot of Adrian McKinty's books have come down in price.

I'm currently reading the Michael Forsythe trilogy and they are excellent. Michael is quite an anti hero, the books are quite gritty and violent but the writing style is wonderful.

Don't worry, Robert.

I'm certain many posters joined me in reporting Stephen Sauls' post. Just waitin' for Amazon to delete it.
