Suzie's list is great. I too am a big Nelson Demille fan. If you want a cheap, but similar witty dialogue try the kindle book "Emilys Gold". For a buck-forty-nine, you can't go wrong.

Greg Iles, Promise you won't be disapointed. BK ( before Kindle) these were two of the only authors I would buy in hardcover cause I couldn't wait for the paperback. Also try Joseph Finder, he turns a pretty good plot, remember the movie High Crimes with Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman... That was based on one of his books.

Spy Rules by Lew Serviss

If you like John Corey, you'll love Ross Walton.

"Ross Walton is a burned-out New York City detective banished to the subway detail when he accidentally stumbles onto a case that takes him into a world of international intrigue. A real page turner, or in the case of a Kindle book, a real button pusher. Suspense, action, thrills and mystery, this has it all. A little Joseph Wambaugh. A little Tom Clancy. A good read."

Hi Kindle readers...
Looking for a good techno-adventure read with a real hero, action, high tech and a bit of romantic interest? Deke Gannon and friends may be your answer.
Clive Cussler likes my books and endorses them.
Sound of Shadows
September Shadows
Shadows of Greed
Shadows of the Hawk
Read them in that order.
$0.99 at the Kindle store...

Go with Daniel Silva and Michael Connelly.

I've read all their books and every one of them is outstanding.
