A couple of ideas for you:

Alex Berenson and Andrew Britton (First three books only). Both are similar to Flynn.

Barry Eisler. His main character is a free lance assassin.

Mike Lawson. His protagonist is a 'fixer/trouble shooter' for the Speaker of the House.

Brett Battles. The Quinn series. Quinn is a Cleaner.

You should be able to find something you like in those authors, if you haven't already done so and just didn't list them in your original post.

Good luck.

A new one on the block who does some decent hard boiled crime is Jeff Shelby.

I also really enjoyed "Big Hungry" by John Clausen. Both of those are more mystery than thriller though, and neither one is crazy action packed or anything.

Check out Brian Haig's "Sean Drummond" series. Here's a link to his Amazon Wiki page: http://www.amazon.com/wiki/Brian_Haig/ref=ntt_at_bio_wiki. It's one of my favorites. Secret Sanction is the first book in the series and it gets better with each of the following books.

Try Romina Wilcox's books: The Calendar and Cold Eyes. They great suspense thriller.
Also, Michael Palmer - medical thriller

I like all of the above you've listed especially Vince Flynn and Nelson Demille. I'm sure you'll like my recommendations.

It is nice to meet someone who has the same reqding tastes as me. Having read all of Vince Flynn and Brad Thor, which I have also done, why don't you try something new. I would advice you to try THE COUNTDOWN BY JOHN NGANDO. It takes international terrorism to unprecedented hieghts.

Russell - In case you are not quite aware,
Self promotion needs to be taken to the more appropriate MOA thread (scroll down the page and you will find it)
Thank you
BTW the title of the first book is quite off putting

Pencilpuf /Sheila Coslett- every couple of months you spam your books (these books) on the thriller threads
You have been deleted twice before to my knowledge.

You can not say that you did not know self promotion was not permitted on the boards

BTW - Readers do remember authors who don't work within amazon's TOS .........I've remembered you.

Try all the Lee Child books in order, you won't regret it.

@Paul Harris:

I don't have the same animosity toward self promotion that others here have, but you could have at least waited until the book was published.
