I know there are countries that have a liberal view on cannabis consumption. ie India, Mexico, Jamaica, Netherlands, Morocco, Spain, Portugal, Egypt...etc. As long as it's just a couple of joints, cops in those countries, will confiscate it and give you a warning and sometimes will take bribes. Do you feel safer smoking 420 in these countries than in your homelands of Can or USA?

I dont know man!!!!! That last poster is taking great liberty with the drug laws in other countries. Maybe in Mexico and Jamaica a couple joints wont get you in trouble but in other countries you could find yourself in jail for years. I think you should do some serious studing before going anywhere to find out the truth about their pot laws. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!

I know countries where I wouldn't smoke 420 ie Turkey, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Thailand...etc. But I know some countries understand the 420 is part of the vacation experience and important for those countries tourist dollars. Check out webehigh.com

Quite possibly the most worthless topic ever started.

Internet FTW I guess.

Maybe not THE worst, close. I'd never do that in a place I weren't fluent in the language! A lack of nuances and fast talking is a big risk!

Dane - I agree completely! I have seen purposely stupid (i.e. joke) topics before, but this seems like a serious question. Therefore, I agree - this wins the awards for most worthless topic in Amazon forum history! Internets 1, Common Sense 0. :P

No, this is certainly not even close to being the most worthless topic when one considers that many, many Americans do travel to enjoy cannabis and other substances overseas.

My two cents is to do as much research as possible before you go. The resources ARE there. You can find them. While I don't partake in recreational drugs I have friends that use them quite liberally in places like the Indian Himalayans and Southeast Asia. From what I heard one needs to know not only national regulations but more importantly local customs and attitudes.

I agree, besides there is drug tourism in Germany for tourists in the form of beer, especially during Oktoberfest in Munich. Coffee lovers go to Italy, Turkey and Ethiopia for the real experience. Caffeine, by the way, is the most wide traded pyschoactive substance in the world.

Ash says:
I would rank sugar above caffeine as the most widely traded psychoactive substance in the world.

OK, since we are on the topic of forbidden or illegal indulgences....What about prostitution? I really like to get high and have sex. Where is the best place for both. I like 'em cheap and good looking!
