I love trip hop, but I seriously need some new stuff to listen to, so if anyone's got any suggestions on new trip-hop albums or artists I would be much appreciative. Here's some of the stuff I listen to on a regular basis to give an idea of what I'm looking for:

Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation, Morcheeba, Portishead, Royksopp, Lamb, Bjork, Groove Armada, Hooverphonic, Imogen Heap (Frou Frou), Sneaker Pimps, and Zero 7, Emiliana Torrini.

So yeah, any suggestions? While I LOVE these artists and a lot of their albums, it's getting kinda old. Thanks for any help! :)

There are the artists Tricky, Amon Tobin, DJ Shadow, Unkle, Bowery Electric, Telepopmusik, Beth Gibbons & Rustin Man (seperate album from Portishhead), Bitter:Sweet, and Gotan Project. There's also the song Sugar Water by Cibo Matto. I hope that's helpful!

I'm sure you've listened (but just in case) to: Kruder & Dorf., Tosca, St. Germain, and Mark Farina's comps. are worth checking out.

Andrew, thanks for the Cibo Matto rec., I'll check it out.

Well obviously "Sia", but also Rosey, selected songs from: Steven Emersons- "Set In Motion", a very unusual voice. And this really great musician from mexico Ximena Sarinana - "mediocre" I don't speak spanish, but I like it. Plus its a good offset to what your listening to.

Not trip-hop, but if you'd like to branch out a bit based on your list, I'd try:

The Knife (esp. Silent Shout)
Fever Ray
IAMX
Sigur Ros
Boards of Canada (esp. Music Has The Right To Children)

Good luck!

DJ Cam - Mad Blunted Jazz
Everything But The Girl - Walking Wounded
Dan the Automator - Wanna Buy A Monkey? (There is a great remix of Air's "Le Soleil Est Pres De Moi" that is incredible)
Lovage - Music To Make Love To Your Old Lady By
Radiohead - In Rainbows
Handsome Boy Modeling School - White People
Handsome Boy Modeling School - So, How's Your Girl?
Poets of Rhythm - Discern, Define
DJ Krush - Code 4109
Sade - Soldier of Love (Bring Me Home, Skin & Soldier of Love are the standout tracks for me)
DJ Vadim - The Soundcatcher Album
The song called "Milk" from Garbage's first album

The Back to Mine series is great. It is songs that artists would listen to if they were just gonna chill. The Everything But the Girl is my favorite.
