I love the Atari 2060, but that is a horrible version of Donkey Kong... just terrible. Play Vanguard, Phoenix, or Pitfall if you want to rock an awesome Atari game.

Playing 2600 Donkey Kong is more interesting if you watched certain movies/shows during the 80s and 90s. The sound effects for that game were used rather often, it must have been a running gag for generic computer sounds back then.

I've always been greatly amused that Coleco released Donkey Kong on every home console back in them. Wasn't that a pack-in with the Colecovision at some point too? It would just be like Sega putting Sonic games on Super Nintendo while the Genesis was still actively competing with it.

The kill screen is from the arcade version of Donkey Kong. The 2600 version does not have that "feature".
