I'm interested to see what Topanga looks like in this. Last I had seen, she had gotten fairly fat, but I can't remember when that was. Either way, BMW used to be one of my favorite shows and I'd tune into this.

This thread is creepy ; ) I loved The Wonder Years and Boy Meets World but I have no reasons to be watching the teeny bopper sequel being well beyond that age. I hope it does well with the new crop of kiddos.

Little known fact, Family Matters was a spin-off of Perfect Strangers.

Yes, the character "Harriet Winslow" being the link between the shows.

I don't remember, was it sheep or goats that he fuh...um...herded?

Had to have been goats, sheep wouldn't be as funny.

I really liked that show, had a great theme song too.

"Standing tall, on the wings of my dream!" That;s my jam.

Same guys wrote the themes for other Miller-Boyett series, including Full House, Step by Step and Family Matters. I'm full of useless knowledge today! Well...every day, actually.

I never thought of it that way. Cory & Topanga are our age, and they will be main characters on the show. Why wouldn't you want to tune in to see what the characters you grew up with are up to now? Besides, was it creepy for our parents to watch Boy Meets World with us? It was a family sitcom. Seeing BMW now days I realize how funny the parents were, and see why my mom didn't mind watching it with me. Because I am adult now and get the more adult humor the parents used (there was innuendo, mild but it was there).

I also have a little girl now, and feel this new show could have a lot to offer both of us. As long as they remember what made the original series such a hit. I'll tune in for Cory & Topanga and their shenanigans, and she will tune in for their daughter and her shenanigans. No more creepy than any other family sitcom, except this one has a whole lot of back-story for the parent characters.
