Me and a friend are looting it up still. As of last night we made it to Act 2 on Nightmare. Let me know if you want game with us, we would love any additional help we could get.

I'm still playing. Regularly as a matter of fact. It feeds my addiction until I find another.

Strider and/or Duster, whats your Battletag and I'll add you guys? I generally get on to play from about 6pm-8pm. My friend is on a lot more though.

Duster says:
JJ have you tried the game after the Monster Power update? Inferno on MP0, can be done pretty easily without spending any money. I made it through inferno without diving into the AH. Going up in MP however is a different story...

I was under the assumption that you can't make Inferno easier, only harder. Now if they influenced the monsters health and damage by lowering it for MP0 I am okay with that. But it was extremely frustrating.

Duster says:
Yeah I agree it was extremely frustrating, but in MP0 they have lowered the difficulty by quite a bit. Before the patch I could only make it through Act I, and that was with dying quite a bit. After the patch, I could make it through all the Acts dying a handful of times.

From that point on you can up the MP level and with that the monsters get harder, but the loot drops are better.

I think they've done a lot to improve the game, it definitely isn't the same game that was out on release day. Although, they still don't have PVP...

Thanks Duster, I will send you a friend request next time I log on. ^_^

Okay cool, so it looks like they put the difficulty way down. In their initial blog post they said that addition was to make Inferno harder - not easier.

I probably read it wrong.

I need to get back to it. Haven't played since GW2.

Posted on Dec 19, 2012 11:06:39 AM PST
I'm playing it, every day for at least an hour.

With some exceptions.

Posted on Dec 19, 2012 11:23:40 AM PST
I really want to play this, but the price just will not come down at Gamestop.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 11:26:00 AM PST
Well first of all Gamestop doesn't control the price, Blizzard does. And blizzard had the digital verion on sale for like 30$ a few weeks ago.

If your waiting for it's price to drop it will be a while.

Duster says:
Or you could buy it here on Amazon for $40 right now Punk.

It has really come along since the release day. That is, if you can get over the always online aspect of the game, which some people can't... *cough* Sudeley *cough*

You know what I'm talking about Griff...

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 11:29:23 AM PST
I have trade credit at Gamestop, but I'd like it for $40. I'll be okay to wait, I've waited this long. I spent 6 years playing nothing but Diablo 2, I'm not sure I'm ready for that.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 11:29:47 AM PST
Gamestop sells the boxed version too, they can price it at whatever they want.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 11:32:08 AM PST
No they can't, not unless it's for a sale.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 11:32:24 AM PST
Oh yes. Yes I do... *shudders* And he wasn't the only one. Need we mention Gary?

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 11:34:52 AM PST
Okay, so $59.99 is what is called an MSRP or Manufacturers SUGGESTED Retail Price. The only thing that dictates a price from a retail outlet is their desired profit. They could give those games away if they wanted to and Blizzard wouldn't and couldn't do a thing about it.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 11:49:14 AM PST
They would stop selling them games to sell and they would lose business.

After getting my account hacked like 93 times by some guy named HungLowBabysArm, and then setting up a secure ID, and then getting hacked 10 more times after that...no I don't even think about putting D3 back on my hard drive.

I don't think you know how retail works.

Gamestop has already paid Blizzard for the copies on their shelf. GS sells them to people for more than what they paid for it (generally). If GS wants to sell them for a different price, they can.

Do you think nearly every publisher tells Amazon to put their games on sale mere weeks after release?
