I'm curious to see how many veteran PC gamers there are. What is the oldest PC ONLY game you own?

I own the original System Shock. It's so old it can only run on DOS.

Why limit this to PCs? I have Apple II and Commodore 64 games.

Either Civ III or Diablo II. I think Diablo II came out earlier.

Doom. I know I have Quake around too, and probably Castle Wolfenstein around somewhere...not sure on that one, so Doom.

I still have my DOS copies of Half Life, Homeworld, and Betrayal at Krondor. They're obviously not installed on my machine, but I still have them. The oldest game I have on my machine is a copy of Ultima VII that I got from GoG.

If it's a re-release of an old game it would be police Quest since it came out in '87. But I got it in the collection package a few years back with the other three in the series.

If you mean the oldest physical disc and cover it would then be Star Trek 25th anniversary from '92 in it's original form.

I think I have Gizmo's and Gadgets still at my parents house, as well as a ton of other baby games if I look.

I have the floppy disk of Rogue, which I played on an old Tandy computer. Enemies were letters and your treasure and loot were symbols. I played it on and old monochrome monitor.

Somewhere I have the disks for a lot of the old Sierra games. I think I still have King's Quest? I know I have the first Quest for Glory somewhere, when it was still Hero's Quest. I don't even have a disk drive on my PC now though so it's kind of pointless to keep them.

Did you guys use the 5 1/4 inch floppy disks? I remember you had to put a piece of tape over a small part of the disk to prevent overwriting.

Call of Duty 4, and that's not counting the older games I have on Steam. I have Half Life and the original Counter Strike on Steam.

I just got my gaming PC in May - don't judge! :P

is that censor bypassing. I mean srsly, can you even say "floppy disks" when we all know you are talkinga bout "floppy male members"!? Mines bigger than 5 1/4 inches btw.

If we are talking about just owning the physical media, then I've got Commander Keen. If we're talking about oldest installed, it would be between NWN or Morrowind(can't remember which came out first in 2002).

ST:TNG A Final Unity. It's a 1995 Dos Game. I remember it being insanely hard and incredibly fun.
