PacinoBully says:
"7,000 portable Wii gaming consoles"
"$2 million worth of Nintendo Wii gaming consoles"
"Nintendo Wii gaming consoles retail for about $300. Check out our Wii U review here."

The media and the general public have no idea what the Wii U is. Bravo Nintendo.

Apparently not selling out means d00med1!

Nintendo can't win either way. When the Wii wasn't in stock for months, they got bashed. Now that Nintendo is keeping the U stocked, they are getting bashed. :)

It was a Saturday night, presumably no one was there.

I keep seeing people say this. But I don't know who is actually arguing that the Wii-U is selling out.

Jawwaad says:
The Wii U consoles went from rotting in the warehouse to rotting in semi trucks. Soon the thieves will be paying Nintendo to take them back because they are so hard to move.

So no one in the factory noticed the two huge semi trucks park with two dudes in forklifts, filling up the trucks?

For pulling off a big heist like this, you'd think these guys would want to steal something worthwhile.

Now they're stuck with 7,000 consoles and no games.

J. Pardee says:
So Nintendo stole 7,000 of their own consoles to make it look like there are less of them on store shelves? That's low, Nintendo, really really low. This confirms that their sales numbers are shipped and not sold.

The HHG will catch these S.O.B. shortly.

got mayo?™ says:
It is actually pretty easy to sell these badboys. They need a guerilla operation, hit up every deli or small business in rural areas and they will vanish them all.

Growing up my uncles had convenience stores, and everything stolen came thru that place: clothes, fragrances, air conditioners, televisions, etc...granted, you were negotiating with crackheads....
