Puzzle problem games either by itself or in a game. I just find it to annoying where you have to turn/push/rotate switches/buttons/levers a certain way/color/number/rotation to pass to the next area/level.

Sports and racing, which is funny because my very first console game was a racing game that I had fun with, but I don't really like them anymore.

Also @ TC, your reasons for disliking third person/first person shooters seems to really only describe military fps games like cod, moh, battlefield, and gears. Deadspace, Deus ex HR, Dishonored, Half life and Fallout 3 are some great third person and first person games, not to mention there are many more. I don't think you've had enough exposure to the genres.

JRPGs
MMOs

They're just not my bag baby.

I AM interested in non-military FPS games (the ones that do not get as much attention) minus Halo, Killzone, and Resistance.

Oh okay then, that's much clearer than killing off the entire first/third person genre which I had assumed at first.

Yeah, it's the ones that sell well that I dislike.

1) Weird Japanese Underage Girl Molestation Simulators (e.g. Doki Doki Majo Shinpan!, GalGun).
2) Dating/Relationship sims.

Most everything else has some redeeming value, somewhere.

Sports and fighting games. There are a few exceptions to these rules, and I also dislike the majority of racing games.
