Would've been funny to see it overlap the PS4

I figured this was coming with how long it took them to mail me a PS2 Slim ordered from them. Wasn't going to pay the scalping prices here. I have a 5001 w/network bundle and the 40gb hdd along with the 9001. None of it open yet.

Oh crap. The paranoid collector in me wants to buy a backup just in case. I don't suppose we'll ever see a knock-off similar to the ones for Genesis or SNES?

That would've been pretty impressive.

Glad I picked up the Lego Batman Bundle and Silver ones at Sears for $29.99 each.

Not really. More like 8-10 years.

Considering the way the games industry is developing, and Sony in particular, I think it's going to take a longer time than we've been seeing.

Not shocked at all.

I think it has more to do with when the patents expire. That's why we saw a flood of NES clones several years ago.

There goes all of Sony's profits.

Yeah, I just think we're going to see Sony more aggressively protecting/extending those patents through whatever legal loopholes their lawyers can find.

Allready own 2 of 'em, so I think I'll be okay. Love the PS2 easily one of my favorite systems.
