PS Vita Portable Charger

I saw it at GameStop for $30 and had some left over credit so figured I would give it a try. Works great. Very compact and is compatible with pretty much everything USB. I'm currently using it to charge my phone.

Just putting it out there since I know a lot of people on here recently got a Vita. It will definitely come in handy.

Oh, I was hoping you were going to say "a good game" but I don't think those exist on Vita yet...

WHy can't you use the regular charger?

You clearly don't have a Vita then.

It's also called an obvious joke.

Liar! How dare you mock a child of Mother Sony!

I'll still use the regular charger too.

What exactly is this used for? I don't really get it.

edit: nevermind, I get it now, like an extended battery.

It's kinda pricey compared to similar things out there. I wonder how much of a charge it holds

You're supposed to be able to charge the Vita twice on a single charge from the battery. I've seen cheaper portable chargers too, but Sony batteries are good quality so hopefully it will last a while.

I was thinking about getting that too, but i ended up going for a grip that has a built in battery. It makes the vita a lot less "portable" but not a huge problem for me. Actually pretty comfortable also

I got one like that too. Mine's the Nyko one. It's pretty good too.

I would think your option would be much more portable than this one. A big block hanging from a wire attached to your system hardly seems like a good option for a handheld.

It's about the same as playing while it's charging from the wall. It might look silly, but it doesn't actually get in the way all that much.

I'm holding out and waiting for someone or something to knock some sense into Sony and start charging reasonable prices for their Vita accessories, for example memory cards.
