The usual suspects:

Resistance series
Uncharted series
Infamous series
God of War series
Killzone series (except 1...don't go near that trainwreck)

Did you get a handy from flores upon arrival at home? I did. It was so-so
On the other side, donnie puts a thumbtack on your chair when you first sit down to play it, so there's that.

It's a fun game, despite what people say.

It does break from the SOCOM formula, though. But it does it right.

And get ps+. If you only get ps+ you will be happy for a long time. Don't forget to upgrade the hard drive. It is hands down the best feature of the system.

Ratchet & Clank Collection if you never played them on PS2.
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction AND A Crack in Time
Disgaea 4 if you like strategy RPGs
Under Defeat HD if you like shmups, it's the absolute best helicopter shmup ever made.

The Ratchet & Clank Future series is phenomenal...especially A Crack In Time.

The Ratchet & Clank Future

FYI...DCUO is F2P, just expect an overnight download!

I desperately want a sequel to that game. I'm playing All 4 One right now, and while I'm having fun because it's Ratchet and Clank, it makes me want another regular Ratchet and Clank game. Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Time are two of my favorite PS3 games.

You play Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty? It's not as great as the other "Future" games but I still enjoyed it.

GarionOrb says:
I love how A Crack In Time combined the classic and well-designed platforming with a sort of open-world format. Aside from the main game, the optional planetoid segments were supreme fun! The game did side-missions right. I didn't want to stop playing until I found every single Zoni.

GarionOrb says:
Quest for Booty was definitely the weakest of the three, but at least it was very short. It was about what you'd expect for a downloadable extra chapter.

What other Ratchet & Clank should i get for ps3? I have all 4 in one and haven't played it yet. Waiting for g/f to come over to play it.

Tools of Destruction is the first of the trilogy on PS3. Good game and good place to start.
