My mother is a teacher, and this kind of horrible stuff makes her sad. It's a tragedy, indeed.

I hope the shooter suffered. This is a horribly despicable and cowardly act. I can't even put into words how much this pisses me off. As someone else said, faith in humanity -10 today.

This is a sad day. May we never see a headline like that again.

I am on the brink of losing it. If I lost my children I could not go on. My faith in mankind is gone. Whatever we are or whatever our purpose, we have failed.

This is just sick. Heinous and sick. I guess we live in this kind of world now. I walk through a security door every day because they worry about nutjobs who hate banks, but I think it's time we worry about all the psychos who seem to love attacking defenseless kids. It's time that every school create a security checkpoint with metal detectors. EVERY SCHOOL. And I don't want to hear that there's not enough @#$%ing money, get the damned money. I don't even have kids and this makes me want to vomit with rage.

You can't stop all the psychos or get rid of all the guns and bombs, you CAN secure a school.

Those poor children. I can't stomach this news.

Supposedly the gunman had an issue with the principal.

the update I just read said 18 children from k - gr. 4 & 9 adults, including the principal & school psychologist .... what has happened to our species ? killing small children ... I am heavy hearted this day .... :-(

Or how about a security person who's worth a damn?

In my area, we had 1-2 poorly equipped old women and men with flash lights "guarding the school". A police guy would come by once every 2-3 days to walk the halls - when he wasn't flirting with teachers.

So a 20 year old dude that has a quarrel with the principal of a school decides to kill 18 kids and 9 adults?

My wife's school hired two on site cops awhile back I think.

Apparently a man in China went crazy in an elementary school there and wounded 22 kids with a knife today. What the hell?

That was back in March. I saw that too and thought, didn't this occur once already?

Posted on Dec 14, 2012 10:32:19 AM PST
The principle, vp and school psychologist went into the hall from a parent meeting when they heard gunfire. Only the vp came back, crawling, wounded.

Over 100 shots fired. Gunman had 4 guns and a bulletproof vest.

This is just disgusting. What the hell's wrong with people. These shootings seem to be happening a lot lately.

If your life is that meaningless to you, don't take other innocent lives along with you. There's no point to it.

This sicko shall enjoy his stay in the depths of hell.
