What if you have extra credit and have over 100%?

I'm not selling how bad the costumes look very well. They're hideous, especially compared to their 360/PS3 older brother/s.

The game is otherwise fantastic. Still probably a downgrade over the editions that were already released.

Thank god I'm not at work. If they saw what I was doing, I'd be fired.

I'm just happy I have a reason to buy a WiiU now. If I had known before hand, no one would've seen me for days!

"Catwoman has glow-in-the-dark boobs for gods sake."

That makes me want to play it even more.

Armored Edition should be docked at least 2 whole points for the ridiculous looking costumes.

There's no such thing as a perfect game. By giving it a 10/10, you're simply saying this is a great, first rate game and that you're giving it your highest recommendation, which is what reviews really are. No game is beyond some degree of criticism or scrutiny. Nothing is "perfect" or "flawless" when it comes to art.

So, if a student answers every question correctly on a test, s/he should get what grade on it? I can understand where you're coming from with not giving a 'perfect' score on a game as that is up to opinion, but on something that can actually be fact, a 100% is perfectly acceptable to me.

DVvM says:
IMO, there shouldn't be such a thing as an A+ grade in school.

Kin-foot says:
Well with that thinking you should never earn an A+ in any class in school.

No, their reviews are what they write and what they say in the show. The thumbs is just a quick thing that can easily be referenced by others.

Same thing with all other scores, it's a quick summary of a lengthier work. Giving an 11/10 is simply that individual's way of saying "holy balls I loved this". It's a message designed to grab attention and convey an opinion, it doesn't have to make any sense beyond that.

EDIT: I give my own post 11 post it notes out of Cthulhu

In reply to an earlier post on Jan 16, 2013 1:43:57 PM PST
Or really disturbing, depending what they used to substitue for an additional thumb.

DVvM says:
Nope, if you have an n-point scale, all of your scores should fall in the interval [0,n].

I mean, if Siskel and Ebert had given a movie 3 thumbs up because they really liked it, wouldn't that have been kinda stupid?

DVvM says:
11/10 scores are asinine. These sorts of things actively undermine the credibility of the organization giving the score.
