>>Peter Molyneux: I struggle to see anything amazing coming out of Nintendo.<<

LOL, he must of been smokin weed when he said that, look at his recent Fable game embarrassment, it took a nosedive in ratings, 61%, that's pretty pathetic, considering it's a Kinect only game according to the 1 star game review here on Amazon. he's pretty arrogant to say what he said about Nintendo. he should pay attention to his own games to make sure gamers are amazed with them.

Great counterpoint article.

It was funny when he asked that his apartment not be made into a CS map.

"IOS and tablet games are a cancer to the gaming industry"

Wow. Talk about dramatic.

"If anything's going to cause another crash of the industry, it's this nonsense becoming as big as they say it will."

No. That will be caused by never-ending cost increases for AAA game development.

Yup. When EA claims that anything less than 5 million copies sold of Dead Space 3 will be the death of the franchise a full year before the game is released, it's time to reevaluate trying to stay at the top of the graphical pile and begin to refocus on crafting great stories and fun gameplay.

He probably thinks Nintendo should have promised the world and barely delivered a small town.

PS3 has many games for Day 1 digital release. With more and more being offered as time goes. Must be talking about the WiiU and Xbx

Didn't Beeper lay a logic bomb on some girl's chest?

OK in a game like zombiU or whatever it's called, if the inventory is on the gamepad Does the game pause? If not your going to get eaten while looking down but if it does pause there's no need for a second screen, why not make the pause menu the inventory?

Does anyone know what happened to him? I've seen him a few times since he left here on the politics forum but that was a while ago.
I remember that he had some kind of health problem, I hope he's ok.

You'll get eaten. The gamepad acts like your backpack for item selection. Think like you need to find the item you want fast and get moving again before the zombies eat you.

If that's the incident I was thinking of, that turned out to be a minor. I think he's just shunning us.

Same reason looking at the inventory doesn't pause Dead Space or recent Resident Evil games, it adds to the tension.

Lucanus says:
Wake me up when Peter can turn out 3-5 top shelf highly rated games a generation like Miyamoto can. Call it dismissive all you want, but at the end of the day Peter doesn't make very good games anymore. Hence I couldn't give a crap about what he thinks. That is like Rex Ryan being critical of Bill Belicheck.

Prove me wrong. List the games Peter has made this generation.

Nintendo has Galaxy 1, Galaxy 2, Twilight, Skyward, Prime 3 and a few others. What has Peter done?
